PSA about free lootboxes on Discord!

Make sure you activate the quest in discord to play OW2 for 15 minutes, when completed it will give you a code for 5 free lootboxes.

Just make sure your discord status is set to “online” so that discord can recognize that you are in the game. Also, make sure you activate/accept the OW2 quest or you will not gain any progression.

If you are having trouble with discord not recognizing you in game, make sure it can track your activity status in the settings.

Damn they are going hard with the advertising lol

I didn’t even know this was a thing. Apparently you have to go into discord > settings > inventory/quests and accept. Then be online, and show the game you are playing on your status and do the thing.

Or it will give you a prompt that appears above your name on the bottom left of channel categories.
