Ps5 version question

Today I got prompted to download the ps5 version of the game, as I have a ps5 but have still been using the ps4 version of the game that I transferred over (along with all my data). However, I don’t want to have two 30 GB versions of the game on my ps5, so I was wondering if I could delete the ps4 version without losing any of my data. I’m assuming all of my skins, game history, etc… is all tied to my battle.net account, not the version of the game (as when I opened the ps5 version of the game, all my data was there). However, when I looked at my game data on the console, it says I have 10 MB of data for overwatch on ps4, and none on ps5. I just wanted to double check that I can delete my ps4 version of the game without losing any of my skins/progress/statistics. Thank you!

Yes you are free to erase the ps4 version of the game. Simply merge the accounts before you do so everything gets transferred over.

Where do I do that? If when I open the ps5 version of the game I have all my skins and progress, does this mean that it has already been automatically done (or I have done it in the past without remembering)?

Oh well if you already have everything then you are good to go! I forget you don’t really have to do anything since all you did was upgrade the game. The account is still tied together. My bad, I had to merge my account because I play on both console and pc. In your case, you can safely delete the ps4 version of the game. You are good to go
