PS5 keeps crashing or turning itself off whenever I try to play or complete a match on any mode on Overwatch 2. Is there a work away around this? Need help asap!

I’m wondering if there is players who manage to play the PS5 version of Overwatch 2 on PS5 without causing a crash of the console? I can only play with the PS4 version of the game on PS5. The PS5 version causes a brutal crash after more or less time (sometimes only 9 minutes and on the menu page) with a shrill whistle and I have to restart the console)

I specify in advance to have tried EVERYTHING and followed ALL the advices recommended for this case by Sony, on reddit, youtube… The problem does not seem to be overheating (it crashes even after 9 minutes of play) and I NEVER have this problem with the PS4 version of Overwatch if I play with it on my PS5. Know that I already tried ALL the solutions offered by Sony : the console is new, clean, dust free, well ventilated, and I did everything that is recommended for this case (reinstalled, database reconstruction, power supply, placed the console horizontally, connect to the wall, vacuum any dust on the PSU (PS5 power supply) from the holes provided for this purpose by the console… etc… EVERYTHING… (I even put 3 mini fans 20 cm from the console, to supply fresh air to the air supply and push the hot air away from the console that comes out of it from behind and below, in extraction but the problem persists. If you have PS5 consoles that work more than 2h with OW2, tell me because then it would mean that there is no general problem. But I’m not the only one like you can read on reddit… Reddit - Dive into anything

News : My PS5 is a 1100 model and it crashes sometimes with ps5 games. (Hogwarts, so with Overwatch 2 ps5 version (ps4 version works fine) and Vertigo.

Maybe people with the overheating problem could check their serial number… Because there is the difference between PS5 1100 and 1200 temperature : Power draw: 218 W for the model 1000, 229 W for the model 1100, and a mere 201 W for the latest model.

Maximum temperature: less than 53 Celsius (about 127 Fahrenheit) for the model 1000,

63 Celsius (over 145 Fahrenheit) for the 1100,

and back to about 53 Celsius / 127 Fahrenheit for the PlayStation 5 model 1200.

Maybe Sony change watt consulat ion discreetly to avoid overheating?

I’m playing on a 1100 model too. My game doesnt crash but the performamce is bad since season 3. stutters and fps drops and weird stuff happening in game.

Ok thank for your feedback… After 4 months reading thousands thread about PS5 crashes with PS5 games… After I’ve try everything possible to fix that… I’ve finally send back my PS5 for refund to Amazon. I don’t know if I try to buy a new one or if I’m waiting for Sony begin to built working PS5…
