I was able to play the game perfectly fine up until a few days ago. I have not changed anything between the last time it worked and when it first stopped working. The inputs are all messed up even though the actual mapping in the options are correct.
For example, if I hit X (or A) it just opens the text chat and maybe jump. If the chat box is open and I move my thumbstick, the cursor pops up on the screen as if I’m using my mouse. If I hit O (or B), I just jump or crouch and it’s random each time. When I hit L1 (left bumper) to GA to someone as Mercy, all I did was crouch and I didn’t go anywhere.
I have already tried reverting all my setting back to default. I have tried the aim smoothing settings I saw online and it changed nothing. Changing the controller sensitivity actually doesn’t change anything for me anymore. I have already downloaded DS4Windows and it worked once after I first installed it but it didn’t work after I closed the game to go play something else. I have reinstalled the game, restarted my pc, and tried a different PS5 controller but nothing works. I’ve seen other posts about this on here but they’re all from 2 years ago with no solution. Has Blizzard actually fixed this or is it still a “work in progress” situation.
And no, I don’t want to use M&K. I’m only playing PC because the lobbies are better than console lobbies and the game runs a lot smoother for me.
