Ps4 player aim moving without touching controller

  1. No it doesn’t do this with any other game.

  2. You don’t have to be touching the controller at all.

  3. Happens frequently but very randomly.

Does this also happen in the Overwatch main menu?

Nope but it does once are in the choose character screen. Then it continues throughout the game.

I only play this game I played COD and mk to test it.

Feels like someone is bumping into you

Yeah I kinda understand what you are trying to say here.

I have troubleshooting steps for controller related issues when it comes to these types of situations. It worked for me, maybe it can work for you.

Troubleshooting

Controller issues

Because Overwatch can be such a sensitive game. And controllers not being the ideal solution to aiming, there are things that can interfere with the game.

Try the following:

  • Connect the controller to the console directly.
  • Reset the controllerPS4

Using a pin and pressing the button in the back.

  • Make sure to clean the thumbstick interiors. Dust can interfere with the controller, and maybe due for cleaning.
  • If possible: try to use another controller, and test if there is any persisting issue.

As far as I know from Customer Support, they recommend you do the following:

It is recommended to disconnect any and ALL devices from the console. This includes external, that connects wirelessly or with cable. This does NOT include the POWER and TV cords.

If the menu still hops without any device being connected try clearing the cache.
If none of the steps work try contacting your console manufacturer.

These are the only steps I can provide you at the moment that is relevant to console involuntarily movement.

I will try anything at this point. Or I have to play Winston I guess.
