The description said “gameplay issues” and it doesn’t allow me, I am ps4 overwatch player and since I bought the game from ps store, I can’t talk in general discussion, so I’ll post it here.
Every time I play in a competitive (gold-plat)
rank, or quick match, any server, I commonly will find someone or three even that will bother me, players with aimbot or aimlock, I’m honestly surprised there isn’t even any thread about it here, it wouldn’t be surprising that there is a player with aimlock/aimbot on GM using a keyboard on ps4.
Every time I ask a player that plays OW in ps4 if they ever see any hacker, they would say no and it’s rare, but I’m doubting it, they’re a a normie and they don’t ever check game replays in the career profile, I always check my replays from every comp match because it’s entertaining, but i also use it to verify if the player was cheating, it’s extremely common, id say the average of cheaters i play with or against is 5, usually almost every match there is at least one or two cheaters.Yes from every match, everyone is probably gonna tell me like the rest “bro theyre just good”, but I’m being real here, a player who’s aim instantly snaps into the hithox of a play doing a 180 degree turn so fast even than .25 speed isn’t being good, so fast that even when he flicks at him it tracks him for 1 second then the aimbot effect goes off, that’s not being good, in fact it’s really obvious to tell now if they are cheating, I also really find it rare to see a player be actually good on console aiming, there is already aim assist which is still hella broken, but im not going into that.
I have played constantly against a group of cheaters, and cheaters every match, hell whenever I play pharah and poke the enemy’s team, the dps usually get bothered and turn on their aimlock and go hitscan to take me off. Worst of all I’ve probably played 80 percent of my matches with cheater in my team.
Besides the cheaters, there is also the keyboard players, it’s obviously cheating too.
I do want to share evidences, I haven’t taken any capture yet but I’m willing to start recording now, since it’s really easy to find someone aimbotting, I can either wait in comp or just go quick play where it’s most common. I am writing the names of every cheater I find to keep count of how many I’ve seen, this sounds ridiculous yes but im honestly tired that I have to see cheaters every day I play overwatch ruin some of my matches just because they can’t aim.
There really needs to be something done about this.
TL;DR
PS4 OW has a lot of cheaters with aimbot, aimlock, and keyboard extension, it’s really common and easy to find a player and even in every comp rank. Groups of cheaters boosting each other can be found in comp, cheaters tired of being bad at aiming at a pharah because aim assist can’t even help their poor aim.
I don’t deny it’s really hard to play without aim assist in controllers but it’s actually possible to get good aim.
