So there is this virus going around on PS4 and my sister and I wanted to make sure we don’t get it. So, she went to make sure her messages were off but one alt account she has she couldn’t remember the password so she deleted the file altogether.
Unfortunately, that was the file I pre ordered OW on and bought it on and now she is locked from playing it on other files of the system. I am thinking this is the problem as other games work fine but I am not sure. Is there a way I can get back my game?
Do you remember the email with it? Btw it’s not a virus it’s a message that can be sent to you that grounds your PS4 so just private message.

Yeah, we did set the messages to private but the issue was that one alt account (the real one I bought OW on) was set to public and she couldn’t set it to “private” or “no one” because we couldn’t remember the password so she got rid of it all together.
I am really hoping I don’t have to buy another since I pre ordered that and I am not sure if all of her data will still be there.
Noooo That sucks, but if you can’t get into the account you won’t get messages to your PS4 bc your logged out of psn so she shouldn’t have deleted it. Just try and remember the email and request for a password change!

I think that’s why the game is locked. That account was the account I pre ordered OW on and now that it’s gone, it’s locked her out from playing it on the other account. Total bogus.
That really sucks and it’s all because of that stupid hacker going around…
Ughh that sucks!! Can you get it used from your game store? Ow is still selling for like 50$ which is pretty expensive for a 3 yr old game.
Yeah I know!! This is crazy! I know some people who had to factory reset their PS4! I didn’t get a chance to change private message but I haven’t played in weeks hopefully I don’t have anyone on my friends list that hates me💀

I appreciate you actually trying to help me friend c: It’s sentimental value holds a bit to me because I had pre-ordered that game since the day it came out and it held memories ya know? I may have my own PS4 now as I gave the one with my pre-ordered OW to my sis but it is still like “GAH” holds heart aha
Yeah, I am looking at the legendary edition now, $60 bucks just like the day I bought the ore order lol Shame 
I am at least hoping her data now will be transferred since I also saved it in the cloud. Pretty sure it will. If not? My sis will be devastated for sure.
I’m surprised there isn’t a hotfix on PS4 yet with this!! you’ll always have your skins and level and stuff on whatever account you were playing on! as long as you have the game it doesn’t matter what copy you have.

I know right? It’s ridiculous what Sony can’t do. This shouldn’t even happen. All of this mess for a punk trying to hack lol (I blame Sombra…probably was her…)
Haha yeah, all aside from the Widow one though since it was a pre order I am guessing? Meh, that sucks.
