Hi, I haven’t played ow in a couple months (before Brigitte) and now coming back it seems that I am muted?
I checked the setting to see if turned off voice chat, and everything is fine, open mic, auto join, etc. And I made sure my mic was working on the playstation itself, but everytime I try to switch to team chat or group chat I can’t hear or see anyone talking.
One thing that’s really strange is that when I go to social and see my name in the team/group chat there is a mute button next to my name and when I click on it there isn’t an option to unmute.
I tried reinstalling the game and it’s still the same. I’m not really sure what to do from here?

It appears you are on a University connection. Just like corporate connections it’s possible and common to run into port/firewall issues. I’d recommend to double check the following:

Power cycle your console. You can do this by shutting it down and unplugging it from the wall for a few minutes.

Make sure your NAT settings are open. If you need help with this, you can find the steps Here.

If possible try to not use Wifi and go wired if you have this option for the most stable game play.
Retest. If the issue continues we would recommend to speak with your IT team about checking their Firewall and if the following ports are blocked(Nat linked above covers this as well):
TCP: 80,443,1935,3478-3480
UDP: 3478-3479
