We need more rewards for progression system, more loot boxes
I don’t mind playing just to earn loot boxes, it takes away the feeling when losing, like “Hey person who went out of their way to kill me, the joke’s on you! I still get what I want!”
Imo it gives them often enough up until 50. Since we get many boxes outside of progression as well. My only complaint is no longer getting boxes at all past 50. Maybe they wanted to incentivize people to play more heroes.
They should. I’m out in the cold abyss with only one title left to look forward to with 86 levels to go. Doubt they will, but they should give an upgraded border for reaching level 1000.
I wish I could be in those board meetings and tell them straight up, I like getting a loot box every 5 games and getting a legendary every 10 and getting the those high tier box every 20 games and it loops back. It motivates me to play win or lose that way I don’t feel like the game is a waste of time, now what would a HUGE perk is if the battle passes isn’t fomo, once I buy one I can complete it long after the event and if I buy the next event season I can then level more than one at a time.
Really I wish the devs weren’t so greedy wanting use to pay soon as possible, We’re not made of money here, what happens when the player base pulls a Squidard and say “I’m all out of MONEY!!!” Then what?

But really, I think a good idea would be to keep the current lootbox system we have right now (which I actually really like, I advocated a lot for something like it when they first removed LBs) but have also classic overwatch items only lootboxes, tie them just to normal leveling at the same rate in was in OW1, and just slap that on top of the system we have right now.
You won’t get the shop only or older battlepass stuff from them, but loot is loot after all
