So i just downloaded the new update, went to check my profile and i lost more than 50 levels, yesterday i was at level 165 and now I’m at level 112.
I’ve checked on the overwatch community in reddit and someone said it’s because of the removal of mode and role levels.
Will i get my levels back???

Yeah i hit level 1000 the other day and now i’m down to 624 </3 I don’t get why they even removed all the sub badges, they were fun to look at and keep track of and were a good demonstration of what type of player you were, its a shame its all just been reduced to play time now

I lost over 600 levels. Was at like 2116-ish, dropped down to 1439. Very disappointed.

Hello - Sorry about this. In the patch notes that were published along with today’s Midseason 2.18.1 patch, you should see the following:
- Fixed a bug that caused some player progression levels to be higher than intended. Some players may see their level reduce.
I believe that is what you are referring to here.

My progression rank is just grey, I don’t even have anything just the number above

The same thing happened to me, I had a progression level of around 450 and after the Midseason patch update my level is now 301…

I do remember this being said. I, for instance, lost 501 levels on the update today. Should the system be THAT off? Some people have lost more than that!

Lost about 700 Lvl’s too. I just updated it and noticed at the end of the game. Will it stay like this or will it eventually come back to its normal/my achieved lvl?

Got an issue here too.
I normally play on ORD1
puts me to LAS1 during peak hours. The latency is bad.
could we get a simple script wrote up in or something sent off to the server that if the player’s Q time exceeds 3-5 minutes then it expands to the next possible region. With a message that it is expanding Match region.
LAS1 is a really dookie af datacenter to play in from the Middle of the midwest, East of the Rockies. Westbound traffic routing is terrible from my region.
Thnx.

I have lost over 1k of levels, great way to treat the players that have been here for thousands of hours and 8 years. It feels more like they were stolen rather than just lost. Very disappointing even if it is just a fancy looking tag and a number.

I have the same issue! My level is around 700+, but my badge is still grey lol.
It’s honestly annoying; since out of everyone I’ve played with, I’m the only one experiencing this issue.

same! i have 1300lvl now, but after update my icon is gray wth
So not only i lost 50 levels (i was around level 165), but the past two days my badge isn’t changing at all, is stuck at the blue badge for the level 112.
whenever i level up i see now the 200 level badge (the one I should have had if it wasn’t because of the new update that made me lost 50 levels ).
But on my career profile it shows the blue level badge for level 112. Even though now I’m at level 150 is still blue, not even the purple one, the only time i see the badge changing is when i level up, but that’s it for the rest is stuck at the same badge
When are they gonna fix this???

I’m done with Overwatch. I have been playing this game since Ow1 beta and Blizzard seems to be unable to fix their Sh%$.
Time to say Goodbye to this game.
I put thousands of hours into Overwatch and now I’m just done.
Lootboxes are bugged the Stats are wrong, this is too much bs for me!
Ow2 is more like a downgrade from Ow1
YES I loved checking these for myself and others. It was a really good way to determine someone’s playstyle on a hero at a quick glance, or if they are playing the hero right at all.
I’m also not a fan of “Career Profile” on the menu being turned to “Progression”, but that’s just me having difficulty getting used to things. But, at least for now, my brain has difficulty linking “progression” to “this is where I go to check replays.”
I noticed today I went from level 1800+ down to 1256.
