I remember the devs talking about how your OW1 “progress” and skins would carry over to OW2. What does this mean? Are they talking about skill level, XP level, comp ranking, hours played (for each toon), or all of it? Or did they not give any details about this yet? If I’m starting over as a level zero player, Ima be miffed.
My understanding is that SR, skins, and stats will carry over. Level and border will be gone but I believe it will be in your career profile. Not 100% positive but in that range.
Everything carries over; skins, sprays, all other cosmetics, credits, OWL tokens, hero hours played, comp ranks, comp points.
There are no more player levels. The highest player level you reached in OW1 will be displayed in your profile but will be there as a relic to the past, never changing, frozen forever in time as simply a memory of what you achieved in OW1. As far as we know, the only thing we will be able to level up in OW2 are the battlepasses.
Will you be able to progress a skill rating for comp or otherwise? I assume there will still be a way to tell how skillful another player is in general, besides playing with them in a game?
