Discord is very powerful for 0 mechanical skill, yet the character struggles to survive. Nerf discord and buff survivability.
Ana
Very impactful abilities, but also bad survivability without those cooldowns. Lower the cooldown and reduce the impact accordingly.
Brig
Still not intuitive for low ranks, still not fun for high ranks. Revert her 2-2-2 rework and tweak the numbers to be balanced. Make her a proper solo Q hero that is only situational in high ranks.
Moira
Still not challenging to play, yet not satisfying either. Moira doesn’t stimulate any Adrenaline hormones for the majority of players.
making everything a pillow fight to pander to fragile casuals is what killed ow1.
they just need to add more skill based support heros. lack of support options is bottlenecking the game.
Well, call me a minority. I might agree with her not being very challenging, although extending her potential as far as it goes does require a lot better reflex/quick thinking and timing than you think… I do find her gameplay very smooth, satisfying and fast paced. I like Ana, she’s fun to play, and Brig too, Zen seems fun to me in concept, but one thing that brings me back to Moira isn’t the lack of intense aim requirement, it isn’t the get out of jail free card (which at times can land you right back in jail… straight to jail)…
It’s her fast, fluid, seamless gameplay.
She’s getting reworked, and I’m apprehensive of it, but also interested to see what they do.
Casuals and Solo Q fighters represent the vast majority of players.
You either give them a fun game or the game will fail and die. That’s just a fact.
Plus, these changes are not meant for casuals only.
Even high ranks are complaining about that.
High ranks hate Moira.
High ranks hate discord.
High ranks hate Brig.
You seem to tunnel vision with your “casual” conspiracy theory.
I also have many hours on Moira. I don’t mind her as she is now, because she is not obnoxious or broken, she is just niche. But i feel like she has wasted potential. The character design is unique but it doesn’t feel satisfying… but maybe that’s just me.
I would hate to say it but I agree. I love her as is and I think I’m sitting close to 200ish hours, maybe more? Which isn’t a lot but I also have a couple hundred hours on Pharah, racking up some others…
Point is, I hope they don’t make her unrecognizable, or too janky/slow… skill shots are fine but her movement is what makes her.
Moira isnt mechanically challenging to play for sure, but she requires a lot of awareness and decision making that other supports dont need because they dont have a resource and/or can heal while they dps.
Mechanical difficulty is completely irrelevant to the enjoyment of a hero. The truth is that any hero could feel bland if they had been nerfed to the same level that Moira has.
in my opinion, it makes the game a lot more fun when characters are strong at specific things, but have easily exploitable weaknesses, such as hog, who can oneshot and deal crazy damage, but is weak to cc and focus. buffing zens hp instead of his strengths is (imo) bad design philosophy
Hog is in fact kinda resistant to it thanks to 600hp and massive selfhealing with DR attached to it. Not to mention reduced ult gains that incentivize not hitting him.
