Problem with vivoxsdk.dll

I cannot play the game due to a problem with vivoxsdk.dll:

/_retail_/vivoxsdk.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vender for support.

After confirming the error box, it shows:

Failed to load library: vivoxsdk.dll

I have tried:

  • Re-install windows.
  • Re-install the game.
  • Update windows.
  • Update drivers.
  • Run sfc scan and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth.

Nothing works.

Have you fixed the issue? I have the same problem.

Nope, it seems that either Blizzard cannot fix it or there are not enough people with this problem to catch their attention.
I also submitted a customer service ticket but there is no answer for a week now.
Guess people like us are doomed to play this game lol.

Have you solve this problem yet ? I have the same problem. Can’t fix :’(

That file is a part of the OW installation. Something is obviously wrong with it or it has been modified by something like a virus or a hack.

When you uninstall the game, delete the entire leftover Overwatch folder. Then, try reinstalling again, but in a different directory from what it was before (just in case there’s something vestigial in the registry). So instead of C:\Overwatch\ , change it to something like C:\OW\

If that doesn’t fix it, then there’s something wrong with your OS. Either it’s debloated or some kind of security or privacy app has broken or is keeping things from running correctly.

I updated driver VGA update windows from 10 to 11 but still can’t play this game.
Reinstall a few times but no work.
So boring :frowning:
