You should know that wifi isn’t as reliable as a cable is. I know from experience that a good gust of wind can disconnect a wifi if there’s a tree growing in the right place.

Didn’t say so. I hate leavers myself. I did suggest an alternative. I get it though- very hard to do such thing.
It doesn’t matter if your wifi sucks. You ruined a game for 9 people. You deserve the ban.

Didn’t realize people are so salty over someone asking for help.
It’s not salt. It’s irritation. How do you not understand that you disconnecting and you intentionally leaving are functionally no different for everyone in that game?

Its not asking for help (because no one can change the system). You seek sympathy. If you DC the first time its a 15 minute lockout, then a 30 min lockout and you complain about an 1 hour lockout, so thats your 3rd strike.
Next season the penalties get harder, so be aware.

Wifi may not be as reliable but it’s also not bad. My wifi gets me consistently 35 ping

Actually, you didn’t. You wished for a way to do this, but that’s not a solution.
It’s like saying “please improve MM” is a solution for better MM. It isn’t.
And I understand your frustrations, but there isn’t really a way to get the outcome you would want, without opening a way for abuse this feature.

I didn’t say it was bad, just that it’s more likely to lose connection than a cable is.
I’m aware that for some people wifi is the only option, but if that is the case then be aware of the downside.
Which is why i don’t agree to qp leaver penalty locking people out of arcade, leave people something to play if their internet fails enough to locl them out of the mode the want to play.
It would be better if leaver penalties were not needed outside of comp at all, but sadly there are people who make them mandatory.
Comp is comp though. There is no backfill, so the penalties are according to that.

I support penalties because people don’t use disconnects properly. The bad apples ruin it for everyone.

Yeah, most of my leavers still leave after the first lost teamfight which shows that the penalties are needed.
