Literally teenage boys on mw2 were more mature than this sessy baka community. You’re the actual problem with this generation of gaming. Get some spines and stand up to blizzards devs that think they’re rockstars. Don’t pay $25 for a single skin when you can buy a full fledged game for equal value. Stop playing the game if it’s trash rather than begging for nerfs every 3 weeks.
Game quality is tanking because our standards have fallen.
But he ain’t. The community really gets dragged down by self denial because OW2 is more of a “feel good” game filled with excuses of fantasy rather then actual gameplay experiences.
I have never seen such intense chronic character obsessions nor this sensitive of voilitity in any player ase I’ve parraken in.
While many of this seems like just “normal” situations for any video game, OW takes it to an extreme and the devs promore more negative behavior rather then enforcing a more social welcoming and alluring pvp environment.
These days it’s “Play for yourself by yourself and never the team.” Which goes against its intended design and creation of OW as a whols.
Were you ever there for WoW discussions whenever a class got some damage reductions… or just in general during the early years of WoW? Cause it was pretty fierce back then too.
And skibidi-boy.
Sadly true, but Blizzard really never bothered to foster a good community here. No clans, no tutorials, etc. Overwatch did harken back to some old-school design philosophies, but also forgot that the internet had become commercialized and fostering binary choices and environments.
Used to be that even Blizzard fostered community work with clans back with the original StarCraft and Diablo; but never thought to tackle those community aspects with their service-oriented games beyond WoW.
Well… I agree the overwatch community is trash. It has been ever since Brig launched.
BUT, I’ve actually been thinking lately that gamers are finally starting to realize their power and voting with their wallets instead of pre ordering every new release.
Woke garbage keeps flopping, Concord is the fastest flop in video game history, Star wars outlaws is a flop from a studio that says “we made the first AAAA game!” , assassins creed shadows is likely going to flop too.
And what’s even more amazing is that game journalists have given ALL these flops high scores in their reviews which shows that gamers are in large quantities, completely aware that these journalists are in bed with these woke devs and give high scores to anything that’s woke cause they’re all in the same weird cult together.
The overwatch community is still trash yes, but the truth is, gamers in general have never been more aware and wise. We’re actually about to see a major shift in the industry because gamers stopped buying trash. It’s losing these huge studios hundreds of millions of dollars.
Worst community in gaming, but the community is the reason the games bad, along with bad balancing.
skilless tank, support mains. Why tanks are so broken right now and supports are broken 90% of overwatch’s lifetime
They made Moira to shutdown Genji for zero effort
They made Brig to shutdown Tracer for zero effort
They made Sigma to shutdown hitscans for zero effort
We got raidboss tanks with no counterplay right now, cause of tanks crying
I’m gen x. How does the game get funded without selling skins? It’s F2P.
Seems normal to me. People have been forming fandoms before I was born.
It’s not friendly? Maybe you’ve become soft yourself? I don’t recall PVP games being friendly. I don’t see how the devs are promoting negative behavior. Sounds off to me. What are you on about?
I think it’s because you’re grouped with strangers. Try playing with people you meet and talk with. It’s also a cultural thing. The West is individualistic to a fault.
It’d be really cool to have clans. However, we have Discord communities.
I played all the Diablos and some SC. I forget if SC had clans, but Diablo didn’t have clans until D4. We created our clans ourselves and used tags in our names of the clan. Blizz never worked with our clans. However, they did help us a bit out in the D2 modding community way back.
It was 40 dollars, but Sony shut it down and refunded everyone. The game flopped badly.
