Stumbled upon this on reddit. It’s a workshop code for in game aim training (which will always be superior when done right). I spend basically an hour in this testing it, it’s both fun and engaging. What sets this apart from other workshop codes and even other aim trainer games is that it’s adaptive. It increases and decreases the difficulty based on how you perform. If you kill the targets fast, they move faster (so do you) and if you take longer to kill them they slow down.
This works for both hitscan and projectile aim training because you activate a setting for projectile speed to increase relative to how fast the bots are moving so how much leading is required to hit them stays the same.
Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to improve and it works well as a warmup too.

I can’t speak for others, but for me, I don’t play OW solo, so if my duo isn’t online and I’m bored, aim training while listening to music or an audiobook is a fun way to unwind.

sounds cool gonna try it out. i think one hero that i need training on is ana. widow is a A LOT easier hitting shots than ana for me personally… for some reason

It’s actually good and the video instructions are dated as the new version is even better, i was involved in feedback and iostux is really good at taking feedback and implementing.
He got high to low ground aiming in it too.
I used to use VAXTA for warmup but now it’s this.
I personally don’t give much to aim training but this is actually gun as it slows or speeds up depending on how well you hit and is actually a nice warmup.

No.
You will not get enough repetitions. If you just go in without warming up, it will take you several games to get in your warmed up state, and if you are playing at your rank, there is an increased chance you will lose.
Aimtrainers are good because they give you alot of repetitions fast, and therefore alot of feedback to your brain while it adjusts your aim.
Also, to train up your aim, intensive training in an aim trainer can help you.
Of course, actually playing the game is also a factor.
But hey, if you play Brigitte and Winston there is of course no need for training your aim.

To me rather than aim training what i find nice is it helps me get used to hero hitbox as well as animations, also for projectile hero it helps with leading distance.
I personally am not a fan of aim training esp like kovacks been there the roi after a point is really poor that you are better of playing the game.
QP exists and you are not training just aim but awareness and positioning too all at the same time.
It is not intensive enough, and it takes too long for your brain to adjust your aim.
It is way easier to spend 10 minutes warming up in an intensive environment than play a number of games (I would guesstimate 3-4, possibly more) to get where you need to be aimwise.

I am gonna be honest here. All these things might help, some, to get you too improve aspects of your game, but at the end of the day what will make you improve is playing the game. Simple as that.
Second to this, to always have the right mindset and mentality. There is no other way to improve at something. Everyone likes to make all these different extreme methods of training and it really comes with every other sport and game out there, but at the end of the day the way the brain works, the way actual scientific neuroscience, the physiology of our brains etc. works is that you improve on the tasks you are doing. The game is not just one component its about combining everything, practising one aspect wont improve the whole picture.
