If you want people to join VC, then don’t harass them after they do.

I have another pro tip for console players:
Stop playing Wrecking Ball if you’re not doing good
It’s a game. they should be able to play whatever they want. If they are in your rank, they deserve to play with you.
I know I’m just tired of it since literally every game (I’m being serious, every game) I had today had a Wrecking Ball that doesn’t know how to play him properly…

Yep this is why I don’t if I am learning a hero. I know I won’t do very well because I am trying to learn, and the first thing people usually say is “you should switch”.
Well, how the hell can I get better at the hero then if I am always switching off it? QP ain’t a great way to actually improve on a hero cause it’s so random, all it really does is help you practice basic mechanics.

They force you to switch if you aren’t running the 6 meta heroes. It’s annoying. My favorite characters are never meta. tank feels like Rein/Zar jail. Has since the beginning of comp besides double barrier for a hot minute.
The fact is you both have the VC option, as equals you made a choice to join or not, and as equals both weighed out the option as wether to join or not.
If someone asks you to join VC he already
A. Believes you are possibly not as aware as he is and you need to be reminded of things (similar to how he will remind you how to play you should play your role incase you didn’t know)
B. Believes your decision of silence to be inferior to his decision of VC (similar to your in-game decisions he will question, such your decision to “waste ult” and where you should have done it
Looking For Group however is the path of less toxicity as they go out there way to look/wait untill someone chooses the group instead of trying to persuade whatever group they have because LFG takes too much of their precious time which they value more than your decisions.
Just because they’re both in the same rank doesn’t mean whatever hero they pick will be a good choice.

They want you to join specifically SO that they can harrass you, whever they realise it or not. Those kinds of players tend to be control freaks with a ‘I’m always right and everyone should listen to me’ attitude. My protip is ‘‘don’t join voice’’, you’ll have more fun and probably play better. Shut text chat too.

Normally its because I’m not playing Reinhardt. Meta slaves.
But the people that do are the toxic people and they don’t see it as harassment. They think that’s how normal people act.
