Tank players - your heroes are literal raid bosses, better utility and dps than dps heroes. That’s happy and balanced according to tank players.
Support - Lets have insane consistent value for just existing, amazing game changing abilities and ults, but also wants 5-5 or better matchups vs dps? all the support players loving kiriko. She’s so ‘fun’, just a coincidence she is juiced to the gills overpowered. Like on top of all she has, why give her a two tap? Lets give hanzo ofunda then. If a support enables the team with damage, then let dps enable the team with healing!!!
Who cares about balance. Why is Sojourn insanely good at every possible range in the game, better than the specialists at those ranges? The next in line ashe… A sniper with an AOE dynamite so cover doesn’t work against her. Sure, give her coach in case someone flanks for 5 years to catch her unawares. We wouldn’t want her to ever be vulnerable. And lets give the sniper point presence with BOB. Because a long range dps should contest point
Firstly, no my heros aren’t. Reinhardt and Sigma are most certainly not raid bosses; they get deleted by conventional fire faster than most other tanks. Secondly
Do you not play Overwatch? What are you talking about?
ALL OF YOU HATERS? Cake the only person of reason smh
Yes I’m out swinging If Kiriko can heal whatever per second, let hanzo heal for half that considering he does more damage.
LuckyDucky12 - You almost had me with Rein. ALMOST. Yes there’s better unkillable raid bosses than rein, but Rein on that PED grind, clean heroes can’t compete
Nevermind the fact that the dps role is not only bloated in terms of its numbers, being around equal to total tanks and support combined, but also making most dps completely overtuned in every possible way, depending on the hero. And the total amount of playstyle diversity in the role, and having a lot of solo carry potential.
Meanwhile supports are all trash, bar Ana and Kiri, being nothing but ult batteries for the the enemy dps, and tanks are now the single biggest target on the map at any given time, with only a few of them being any good, despite the entire role being overhauled for OW2. Even when they commit to making massive changes to the tank role, its still sub-par at best in terms of their overall individual effectiveness, as a tank without their team is just a dps with a big health pool, going by your views of the tank role.
What privelige is that? Damage always has been, and always will be, the single most powerful and impactful role in the game. Dps players are always prioritised in terms of hero releases, in terms of balance and apparently game design in general, as one of the main reasons for the shift to 5v5 was to prevent stacking barriers from multiple tanks, so damage could come through more freely.
