Not really but I really do hate OW2 I feel that we could’ve maybe had Sojourn revealed and WIP by now. Might have gotten a new DM map for Anniversary like in 2018 or maybe even a new gamemode for archives.

Sorry for bad grammar haven’t really typed anything in a really long time.

Because it is required by law to have them in most places. Blizzard can actually get sued for not having it.

Because some people liked to look at their teammates profiles at the beginning of each Competitive game and then take it upon themselves to tell their teammates what they had to pick based on their profile. Said people often also had a habit of throwing, being abusive or filing false reports if they didn’t get their way.

Blame a minority for ruining it for everyone.

If it’s required by law how come blizzard chilled w/out it for like 2 years.

They ran out of bribes

There are many laws and restrictions that sound odd but actually make a lot of sense.

We have the “this is a work of fiction” disclaimer as a result of lawsuits and Rasputin.

If a person happens to be harmed as a result of profile exposure Blizzzard can be held responsible. It will also look very bad on the news and for OW.

Cyberbullying is still a very serious issue and people do get hurt from it.

The profiles are dumb. Stats are fine but why the need to share? Game is not a status symbol to most players, I assume.

People only want open profiles so they can talk crap about anything they possibly can going through every detail of your account.

If you want to know what someone plays ask them.

Because people have consistently used public profiles to try and shame other posters instead of converse with them.

The community proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that we didn’t deserve to see anyone’s profile by default.

My profile used to be public.

It’s private now and I’m never making it public ever again.

This game is toxic private profiles prevents players to harass ya even more since they don’t know who you main. Unless they look you up like a pro stalker to ridicule you more. The game is filled with juveniles more than LoL.

If you are playing competitive, the player is the same rank as you so there is no need to check the profile beyond wanting to bully them. If you aren’t playing competitive, there is no reason to know them at all.

I’m glad in OW 2 they are going to remove the level borders as well.

Privacy is a relatively simple concept to understand.

No. You tell us why having them be open would serve any purpose. Go on. We’re waiting.
