Priority Requeue exploit?

Queue as a Support or tank and if someone drops, come back as DPS and jump the long queue times. Is this a thing?

I have tried it a few times when someone has dropped from a game and its seems to work.

I can test it tonight.

Or working as intended? Only way to really exploit this would be if you queued with a buddy and got them to drop so you could get a priority queue. But they would get a ban so you could only realistically do that once or twice. Probably not worth it.

Not if your friend own more accounts ::grin:

True. I guess you don’t even need a friend, you could just do it yourself with multiple accounts that you level while your main is queueing. But it seems like an awful lot of work to save 10 minutes. :joy:

maybe, but just as solo Q i might get 2-3 games a night that are false starts, (close in 10 seconds ) meaning i can jump on DPS for the next game.

I’m not sure it works anymore… it defiantly worked when it first came out but they might’ve patched it. Was getting 5-6 mins in priority queue as DPS after my support matches were cancelled. Yesterday I tried it again and was stuck in an 18 minute “priority queue”. So I think it could just be a visual error now.

Priority queue only affects the role you were previously queued for, can confirm.

I thought about this the other night and tried it. Q times were <2 m tank, >10 min dps, <5mins Support. or roughly there about. I Q’ed as support, leaver within first few seconds of the game because he didn’t get genji, lol. Saw the priority reQ and tried to get a fast Q on DPS, waited 9 mins. So… don’t think it works.
