I have just finished playing 12 games, going 2-10
Of those games:
1 had a tank main 600 sr below me as my partner
1 had a tank main of my sr
10 had DPS players who played less than 4 hours of the hero they were playing who were clearly queuing for tickets
It’s idiotic to think that anyone playing a role they don’t care about is suddenly going to care because it makes their queue time 5 minutes faster
This might work at low ranks, but when it comes to masters/gm and even diamond, it sucks to have someone soft throwing because they don’t care what happens as long as they get their faster q times

I just don’t care what my other tank does. Seems to work pretty well for me.

The logic clearly isn’t there. As a loss, even though you get one ticket… is a complete waste of time.
It takes them 10-15mins+ to get one ticket on a loss in order to get a 5min DPS queue.
Not really worth the time investment to just troll.
Yet many many players do just this.

I think I know your problem. You are complaining a lot instead of trying to work with your peers.

I work with them plenty, but when they’re trolling, there’s nothing to work with
I don’t think so, reward is reward, but it rewards loosing. So you can even derank and make those tickets, and then after deranking, lets say to bronze lvl, you can have easy wins and then get 6 tickets for free wins and use it in your dps q in diamond or above, doesn’t matter.
Hate to say it, but I totally agree. The quality of tanks has gone down dramatically. Also the volatility in DPS skill seems to be very high.

Curious your SR?
In bronze dps quality varies between a Widow literally getting zero picks in 4 minutes, vs a Reaper getting 82% kill participation at match end.
I know which I’d rather have on my team and which on the enemy team…
People play a 10-15 minute game for a pass, so they can then use that pass later with a group of friends or in a duo. Sad really that they don’t see most of the games they go on to play with those tickets are also ruined by other players farming their own tickets.
Maybe it’ll be better in OW2? For me queue times are almost always DPS > Tank > support. I don’t think having 1 tank role in OW2 will solve it. I think they need to go 1 tank 3 dps 1 support, and just make the tank and support roles stronger so they’re able to support the 3 DPS players.
