So, i haven’t played the game in about 2 years and there’s been quite a few changes. What’s the deal with these passes? What’s the purpose of using them to queue up for DPS competitive play, if the wait times are still at the very least 10 min+? On top of that, when the queue times get that long, it doesn’t even charge me a pass because the queue times were that long. so again…what is the actual point of them?
the point is to trick people into playing support/tank.

In theory it bumps you up in line so you queue faster.
Realistically it’s to convince you to play roles nobody likes.
