Priority pass improvement

I rarely play DPS, but when I do, I don’t want a 10+ minutes queue.
Solution: get a less than a minute queue time for using for example 5 priority passes at once! I’d always opt for that. Ideas?

I mean…using the passes doesnt instantly create 11 other players

and if everyone does this…well we are back to square one

Could I just play 10x passes to get matched with teammates that know which way is up?

Priority pass can’t be improved .
Play more games in a different mode to be able to play ur role .
It’s a low quality system by design .
They should remove it and make real changes to incentivese players to play all roles with closed numbers of players on each role .

Let’s nerf tanks even more and see what happens. They’re just dps-enablers by now.

I think it would be cool if the system somehow can read how much time you spend on playing other roles and then gives you shorter queue times when you are, lets say a tank main that wants to play DPS once in a while and DPS mains who keep playing the role are waiting a little bit longer.

I don’t see a problem if people who play an unpopular/much needed role get rewarded for doing so.

The issue is that there aren’t enough other players to even start a match that fast regardless of how many tickets you have and can spend.
In the best case scenario you will be thrown in a match with ppl who are way out of your league.

considering also how easy it is to accumulate it then … it becomes useless from the beginning.

more than anything else the problem will always be the fact that there are always few and the same tank heroes. they can destroy the combos between two tanks (nerfing the main tamks for the double shield or the off tanks for the “fake tanks”), but there is a lot of boredom playing almost obligatorily less and less really good tanks in a patch.

on the contrary, DPS have 17 varieties of alternative responses against tanks. and some good CC support.

I am very supportive of OW2’s effort to rework ow in 5v5 and redistribute skills based on roles, but … we are also impatient after too long a wait that needs more waiting.

What are u talking about ?
The Tank role is the least played role in the game and u want it to get more nerfs !
U only care about ur role .
U want to get lower queue times for dps , then improve the tank role experience so some of u can play this role (nerfing it will do the opposite) .

My main role is tank. That is a dps-stance I had wrote. Meanwhile dps role has one shots, range, mobility, damage and 17 choices. Meanwhile I get deleted as 500hp rein.

not at all related to what you said but definitely related to priority passes. why can’t I q let’s say… damage with priority AND another role without priority. why does using a pass lock me out of queing for another role?

priority passes are really pointless. Try to use one and it gets refunded. What good do they do than???

I always have 40 passes because it can never find a game for me in under 9 minutes so it refunds my ticket :slight_smile:
