Since yesterday, all my games are connecting to ord1 servers when I normally connect to las1 servers with lower ping
In the custom games browser sorting by ping, ord1 servers are all at the top, but if I scroll down and connect to a server which is listed lower in the browser, I can still find a las1 server and my ping is normal when I connect, and much lower than ord1 servers
I’m getting a similar issue. In stadium and practice range, I get 300-400ms ping. When I make a custom game, my ping is below 50ms. However, my custom game lobby list seems to properly sort by ping which doesn’t sound like it’s the case for you.
Something is wrong with the servers ever since this season started and i wish it was addressed. I have higher ping than usual, and if it connects me to ORD1 i am 100% sure to be disconnected during the beginning of a match unless I’m playing late into midnight. It’s super frustrating basically having a time window of when I can or cant play due to server problems. The only good experience I’ve had is when it decides to put me in las1 and doesnt dc me even though i have to play with higher than usual ping. i know nothing about how servers are managed but something is definitely up because ive never experienced such horrible connection issues!!
I posted a similar thread last week. I’m used to ~20 ms for ORD1, and this random lag appears to be a routing issue independent of anything I can do on my side.
ive been keeping an eye on what servers it sends me to and its crazy the far places it puts me in. that, and ord seems to become unstable during the times most people are on because it works fine at night. has to be an issue on their side for sure.
IT SURE WOULD BE NICE IF THEY COULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE ORD SERVERS. ENJOY WAITING MINUTES TO PLAY AGAIN

ORD seems to be fine for me? That’s the server I land on 95% of the time and haven’t had any disconnects or lag. LAS is ok too, but it’s kind of far from me, so ping is +20ms.
