Prime Gaming Overwatch Legendary Loot + Theory

Got every legendary in the game already so I’ll either use it to add to my 50k credits or give it to my little brother if it’s a redeemable code.

Speculation Time
I think this is a strategy to help everyone complete their collections in case loot boxes go away in Overwatch 2 AND by seeing that the latest one in the year will be given in August lootboxes will go away shortly after.

Not bad to me.

Majority of the playerbase already has everything
and this is only of you have prime

nothing, and thats the problem

Why do I have relink my prime account to Battlenet again? It’s already linked.

Yay more coins to add to my pile of 181,000…

Thanks for the tip- got my box!

To clarify linking your BattleNet to Prime Gaming is not the same as linking to Twitch.

Yeah, just dug around and discovered that. Why Amazon decided to decouple these functions is beyond me.

It’s more or less a chance to promote their own prime gaming brand and products.

It used to be the same thing. Twitch is owned by Amazon. But for some reason they decided to rebrand Twitch Gaming to Prime Gaming. When they rebranded, they discontinued some services under Twitch and created new versions under Prime, but didn’t transfer preexisting information for some reason.

But thinking about it, this all started when Amazon was trying to launch their own gaming company/service. Probably the reason for the disconnect.

Thanks OP. Prime friend got Zarya barbarian skin just now

Amazon sponsor OWL a possibility?

Or prime gaming

Interesting that they’re working together again. As far as I can tell, it’s been quite some time since any Blizzard game had promotions on Prime.

Not like OW is 2 years late in doing this.

Me who still doesn’t have everything

cries in a corner

A lot of other games gave away some unique items on Amazon Prime. Paladin gave away a skin. I got some cool galaxy guns on Splitgate.
Even LoL is giving away some stuff.
Amazon paid a few gaming companies to advertise their new gaming platform.

If you haven’t completed your collection by now then I do not know what to say. The game basically has handed it out to everyone other than a small handful of exclusives that people constantly want to ruin by bringing them back(not talking about the challenge skins they can come back).

This would require me to reinstall bnet and overwatch for… cosmetics? I think I’m fine unless it’s swimsuit Mei.

Some day.
