You may have been seen this kind of post on WoW forums and even Overwatch doesn’t have subscription like that it doesn’t change the fact pricing for the game, lootboxes and OWL tokens are insane when you convert prices from €/$ to ₺.

Why Blizzard should give you a special treatment?
We don’t want a special treatment, we just want fair and fixed prices. Blizzard already does this in some countries like Russia, Argentina, etc. Gaming grows everyday here, but sadly new generation of gamers can’t get into Blizzard/Activision titles due to high prices. That’s why we want more reachable prices.
Lots of companies already does this. Subscription services like Netflix, Spotify, Amazon Prime are super cheap compared to their normal $/€ prices that’s why they are so popular in Turkey. Also lots of game devs/publishers release their game with localized prices. 60$ titles like CyberPunk 2077, Baldur’s Gate 3 can be bought for 250₺ (31$/27€). Due to this CP77 hits #2 spot on Steam Best Sellers everyday.
Also biggest Blizzard competitor Riot has great pricing for both LoL and Valorant so extremely big part of the Turkish Gaming Community plays these games. And I believe if Blizzard comes big with their pricing they can be a big threat to other multiplayer game dev/publishers.
If you want some comparison in game/subscription prices, I hope it will make the reason why we want fixed pricing clear:
Cyberpunk 2077 [Steam]: 59,99€ - 249,00₺ (26,71€)
Baldur’s Gate 3 [Steam]: 59,99€ - 249,00₺ (26,71€)
Gears 5 [Steam]: 39,99€ - 61,00₺ (6,54€)The Elder Scrolls Online: Plus Membership / 1 Month [Steam]: 12,99€ - 42,99₺ (4,61€)
The Elder Scrolls Online: Plus Membership / 12 Month [Steam]: 124,99€ - 412,99₺ (44,30€)Riot Points / 750-840 [Riot Games]: 5€ - 32₺ (3,44€)
Riot Points / 1580-1780 [Riot Games]: 10€ - 64₺ (6,87€)Netflix Basic [Netflix]: 7,99€ - 17,99₺ (1,93€)
Netflix Standart [Netflix]: 11,99€ - 29,99₺ (3,22€)
Netflix Premium [Netflix]: 15,99€ - 41,99₺ (4,51€)
Amazon Prime [Amazon]: 5,99€ - 7,90₺ (0,85€)
Spotify [Spotify]: 9,99€ - 17,99₺ (1,93€)
Before finishing this question, we don’t want to buy everything for dirt cheap. We know how much game development costs and we just want fair pricing for both Turkish Gamer Community and Blizzard. If others can Blizzard can too.
If player base for Overwatch / World of Warcraft / Diablo / Hearthstone was big enough you would have got localized prices.
Well, I can understand your point, but player base isn’t big due to prices. I’m a huge fanboy and i want to discover other Blizzard titles, especially Diablo 3 and WoW. I have my friend D&D group and we want to play together, but prices are so insane and most of them doesn’t want to pay that much money for the game, expansions, gametime.
If Blizzard doesn’t come up with fixed prices their player base from Turkey will only get smaller and smaller everyday due to increasing exchange rate.
“If you are poor don’t play the game”, “you shouldn’t have picked X as president” and other political things
But we are human being like you too, we have stressful day too, we need video games for relaxing too. And some of us find peace with Blizzard games. So is it too much for us to ask Blizzard something that other companies can do and find success?
And if I must answer your political questions/comments about politics, no i didn’t pick X as my president, I didn’t vote Y as government, I didn’t want Z to become leading party.
"#BlizzFixThePrice
I’m just a player who wants to play games with his friends, i have no bad intentions or anything. I just want accessible prices for me and other people in the Turkish Gaming Community. #BlizzFixThePrize hashtag is already popular with Turkish Gaming Community on Twitter and I hope with posts like mine and Egzolight’s more people will acknowledge this topic.
I love this game and this community, and I hope Blizzard will see how much we care about their game
