Do the devs not know reins already the best main tank below masters? (aka majority of the playerbase). He didn’t need any buffs at all, He was perfectly fine and he wasn’t even meta that long ago. He doesn’t need to be good everywhere…

Yet he got 50 extra armor and a huge damage buff to his hammer.

D.va is legitimately doing poorly rn in pretty much every rank but only got 100 hp converted to armor. I mean I’m fine with smaller buffs, but then you contradict yourselves by doing such massive rein buffs.

Bap nerfs are welcome I guess but they don’t really change much.

Here comes Super Rein to get Super Nerfed just like how genji, hog, and brig got the treatment back then. I just know it. Becomes meta for a month or so and get nerfed in the wrong spots.

I like the buffs personally but then again Rein is my favorite tank.

Definitely won’t happen. Devs love rein, They never give him big nerfs.

D.va should of gotten much bigger buffs than rein though.
Makes no sense rein got buffs either since he’s good for the majority of the playerbase. He doesn’t need to be good everywhere.

yea maybe a little buff to her matrix or bring back the 3 second rocket boost, i use to love that

To be fair, D.va absolutely needed something. That was the only good change to come out of ExC.

It’s not bad because they buffed him (mt is trash) it’s bad because he didnt need exactly these changes, which literally increase power creep

D.va deserved better than rein, yet rein got the special treatment?

Hana should be mad about reins buffs, and the miniscule d.va buff.

My guess is Rein buff stays and Ana nano will be nerfed.

im not too sure about that… I think Jeff liked genji in his previous videos but yet, he got super nerfed in overall dps. correct me if im wrong on that. But it usually happens with heroes where they get super buffed then they get nerfed in the wrong aspects that makes them worse and im afraid for that for rein players.

  1. The devs have said they balance around OWL, contenders, and GM. So why would “the majority of players” matter if they’ve said that’s not what they balance around…
  2. The Dva buff will be huge for high rank players. If it doesn’t help lower rank players, that’s unfortunate, but low ranks have ALWAYS run rein/zarya as the default comp. Even when it was the worst comp in the game (kinda like now) they still run it. That just has to do with it being a comp that allows for a lot of mistakes and feeding to happen and still get results, nothing with balance.

And if that was the case anyways it would be because of rein.

It’s just ridiculous they give such big buffs to a balanced hero. In fact, he was very strong for majority of the playerbase. Yet miniscule buffs for d.va. I’m fine with small buffs but the fact that rein got such huge buffs is just dumb.

I predict that zarya will get the nerfs though if rein becomes meta, since people dislike her.
