Prestige battlepass goes up to level 200

I am very sorry for your loss, I hope you find some comfort or at least distraction in gaming.

I’m asking cause I put a couple days play in and I’m like… level 5. I don’t think I’m going to be able to participate in the whole battlepass thing. I was wondering what it took to be around where you are… and I do not have that kind of time.

Love the Cyberpunk vibe this season. Instead of Arasaka we got greedy Blizzard. Its almost like being in Night City!

People who enjoy the aesthetic of the game.

Instead on Genji pulling out his blade, 2 mantis blades pop out of his arms.

They’re really getting those who have FOMO on all this to open their wallets wide to buy BP tiers, huh? And just think, this is a constant cycle, refreshing every 9 weeks. Absolutely disgusting. Only idiots that like to be taken advantage of by big corporations would give them any money.

Id only try and grind up to 200 if there was a title I really liked. I dont really care for any from this season.

nobody is going to pay for a title, I don’t even think it lets you buy tiers after 80

Don’t worry, it will only be half a maxed Diablo4 char.

Nobody was gonna buy “horse armor” either.

If you really minmaxed the dailies and the easier weekly challenges you could probably get to level 80 by playing around 3 or 4 quickplay game a day, but that’s not a fun way to play the game. If you were playing since Tuesday then you’d need to be around level 7 or 8 by now to be on pace to finish it.

yeah… Again, I do not want a job. I want a game. This isn’t feeling like a game anymore… or at least MOST of it doesn’t.

Mystery heroes was still pretty fun.

Worth it for the more dedicated players I guess?

Do titles show up over your name in-game? That would make them remotely interesting instead of a throwaway feature.

yeah I had a lot more fun this weekend when I had all the challenges done and could just play the game like normal. I don’t know why there are people who actually like being forced to play modes they don’t like and stuff like that

Same, I’m glad it’s titles rather than cosmetics etc. Personally I’m already on tier 44 (haven’t started my new job yet so I’ve had the time to really grind out the battle pass) and am hoping to maybe be able to get to the end of the prestige tiers by the end of the season. When I start work in a couple weeks that’ll slow me down by a lot but I’m hoping to give myself a solid head-start before then.

If I continued at the rate I’m going it would take me 5 weeks to complete it, but I’m also playing almost all day long right now which is a) very draining and b) not something the vast majority of players aren’t able to do. I think the prestige tiers were mostly geared toward streamers as a flex for how much they play; the average Overwatch player probably won’t be able to reach the VERY end by a long shot

Yeah the titles were kind of a let-down from the effort you have to put in. Unfortunately the only one I like is the Cyberdemon one which is the absolute last title, so I’d have to grind out all 200 levels to get there

Unlocking all 80 tiers costs something in the $110-120 range, but the prestige tiers are unable to be bought. You have to actually play through all 120 of those levels to complete the prestige tiers

I only plan on putting effort into season one’s pass to try and get to the very last prestige title. That’s my only FOMO right now :joy::sweat_smile: After this season, I couldn’t care less if I even get to tier 80. I don’t plan on spending any further money than the $10 it took me to buy the battle pass this season (however, if/when they come out with a mythic skin for Mercy I’ll definitely be grinding for that one)

Well 80 is $160 so multiply it by 2.5
