I just tried to log onto Overwatch and I have the exact same problem on Overwatch only (32gb ram), Nvidia 3080, 240hz monitor).
Did you manage to get it fixed ? Thanks in advance.

Howdy Presley5,
I moved your post to a new thread so we can troubleshoot your issue specifically. If you are seeing these Rendering Device Lost errors while playing, this indicates that the graphics card stopped responding to Windows for some reason. You can read about this here.
To help investigate why this is happening, please reply with your computer DxDiag:
It should look like this.

Bro,
I had the same issue with my computer. Rebuilt it several times, all top of the line stuff. Kept getting crashes with rendering device lost and nvldmm error in event viewer.
Go to discord and chrome and disable hardware acceleration mode. That fixed it for me!
GL!
Its because is not a PC problem. It is Overwatch problem. I had the problem back in 2016 and i still have it sometimes (with 3 different PCs).
Is just lame how Blizzard ignore this problem since 2016.
Thanks for creating a specific thread for me Zenlaka.
My issue was fixed after a simple rebooting of my computer. It seems like an Nvidia update was responsible for this. I have been able to play just fine right after, for many hours, so I wonât make you waste time with sending all of my data for now.
Iâll just wait until the October Overwatch update to see how it goes. There will most likely be another Nvidia update around that time as well. Iâll send my logs then if necessary.
Thanks for your concern. Feel free to close this thread whenever you can.
Cheers.
