Aight, so is it more appropriate to practice people in qp or qp classic?
I forgot until a minute ago that was a big thing for people, that people would say “its just quick play who cares”, but some people only play quickplay so they care. So, now that there are two quick plays which is it more appropriate to practice heroes in? In which would people care less?
This tbh. If you’re looking to figure out a new DPS hero mechanics, the best way is to grind FFA, die repeatedly, and play enoug bajillion games to consistently place top 4 and confident of going 1v1, 1v2 and even 1v3 alone with no healer or support whatsoever. There’s no one else to blame when you die. This teaches you to know the limits and potential of your own hero without needing to rely on any kind of sustain/support .
After that I’d say play a couple QP games to adjust how to actually play on a team. Then real comp. If you’re missing shots; go back to FFA.
This only applies to DPS at least. With tanks you need actual games to practice. FFA with supports is quite useful to train mechanics and get used to self defend without relying on peeling. I spent like 20 hours on Ana alone on FFA.
Qp, you have a team comp that isn’t just a bunch of random dps. If you practice tank, you have a tank partner, healing, and dps. If you practice support, you have tanks, and dps. If you practice dps, you have tanks to make space and youll get healed. Classic is just a dice roll.
Practice in practice mode, its there for a reason. There are also aim arenas in custom matches…there are more items at your disposal than there reasons to complain
Okay, the other answers I did expect, but you two pulled a ruby. I think your answers actually make that most sense for real time. Semi time is customs and vs ai and mono time is training center.
Probably not a good idea to say qp is a place to train then, huh?
VS AI is good for testing a hero out and getting used to their abilities, but it’s no place for real practice. There’s no snipers or shields and less than half of the roster of heroes available as enemies.
