No joke, I am seriously pursuing this issue with Blizzard’s ADA HR (Americans with Disabilities Act / Human Resources) people
- From main menu press play
- press custom games
- press create right next to the search bar
from here you can create almost any lobby you want and play by yourself if you choose to. If you practice any programming language you can make use of the workshop feature. I’m not sure what language OW uses though.
Also don’t report players for simply playing PvE that’s scummy. Report people who actually deserve it.
You can make a custom game.
Add enemy AIs, and add teammate AIs. This also allows you to practice 1v1s, and learn specific maps/matchups at your leisure.
Just be aware of forming bad habits. Real enemies will always be more lethal than an AI.
You must be fun at parties.
/s
with that though you’d say that “you cannot try your hardest vs ai, because it’s easy anyways therefore ur not sweating”
also true
You can make a private custom game with all AI. This is how I usually do it. This is also a nice place to try out anything else.
Ah some people already wrote it.
If you want to simulate real players better you can create custom logic. That’s advanced but possible. Real players usually jump and move left & right more. You can force an AI to press a button to do something like that.
I play Vs AI just to blow off some steam sometimes, especially when I had many bad games in a row in QP.
You must be part of the problem
I want to make it fully clear, I have never met a single soul who believes practice v ai is the practice mode. There are 4 modes that I view as practice modes.
1.customs
2.arcade
3.hero mastery
4.shooting range
maybe qp…
nobody with an ounce of sense practices in practice v ai, that is the mode that like 1% of ow uses, and the 1% uses it to unleash the rage of playing the real game.
You can also create your own lobby full of bots. That way, you’re the only one who could overperform.
If you just want to use vs AI as a practice mode, you can go make a private custom game with 9 bots.
Couldn’t the smurfs/sweaties do the same then ?
Well, they wouldn’t ruin your experience.
You keep saying smurfs/sweats, but there’s no correct way to play vs AI. Just because you personally think they’re tryhards or something doesn’t mean they’re doing anything wrong. Some people just want to relax and kill some bots. Maybe grind out some XP on the way.
But you’re the one here that seems to have an issue with the match quality. It’s not their job to go out of their way to exclude themselves from the player pool. YOU are the one who wants vs AI to be something specific and you want to control the match to your own liking.
Im part of the problem? while you want to report people simply for having fun on VS AI mode?
You are the real problem here.
do you desperately need the exp from those games? i assume no?
most sweats in ai do it exclusively for exp nothing else.
they wanna finish the bp but not play ow. so theres only 1 way for them. and 1 way only.
for you there are multiple ways.
Pot calling kettle black, kid. The irony of your comment is just mindblowing.
This is the lamest OP I’ve seen on the forums for a good while. My god…
The AI for F.E.A.R, a 20 year old game, is leaps and bounds better than most shooters today. It’s insane and unfortunate that didn’t just set the new standards.
Because I said I want to use the Practice Mode for practice? You should read slower bruh
Really, i thought it was an example of why competitive games shouldn’t pander to casual gamers…
I mean the ai practice is at best equivalent to an aim trainer, and being able to aim is not the most important thing to getting better… and will do nothing to make up for experience, and gamesense that can only be developed by playing against others…
