dev comment: Junkrat was way too much of a spammer, so now the player actually has to think before shooting.

Dev comment: rein has a lot of counters (and many more on the way), so in order to balance this we made it so he can survive for a little while longer.
Wrecking Ball:
-Wrecking ball is now in the game
-shield no longer forces wrecking ball to get out of ball mode.

PATCH HIGHLIGHTS
New Hero: Junkerqueen
The queen of Junkertown, the Junkerqueen is a ruthless mech-fighting champion who will battle anyone brave or dumb enough to get in her way.
Junkerqueens ingenuity and dirty fighting style make her a high damage tank/DPS hybrid, capable of eliminated foes who come too close and soaking up the damage dealt by those who don’t. Her primary weapon is her versatile Battleaxe she can swing in a highly damaging but low-spread downward Smash or in a wide arc Swing to push-back and distribute damage evenly among nearby enemies. Lasting burning damage can be applied with her Flamethrower ability to ensure enemies out of reach continue being punished for getting too close.
Harpoon enables Junkerqueen to finish off these fleeing enemies with a well-placed shot of her speargun.
Junkerqueen would have been a more interesting and effective hero before Brigitte stole her main potential abilities and effectiveness, so now she’s probably going to be some trash ranged hero or no-damage tank.

- Reaper tosses out a smoke grenade that creates a smoke cloud when colliding with a solid surface. When in the smoke cloud, enemies cannot see further than 2m in front of them.
- Reaper gains a 10% movement speed boost when inside the cloud.
- The cloud lasts for 2.5 seconds.
- 12 second cooldown.
Soldier: 76

SUPPORT (aka the controversial part)
Ana
- Symbiosis
- New passive.
- Ana gains 15% of the healing she deals back as self healing.
- Sleep Dart
- Cooldown decreased to 8s.
- Nano Boost
- Instantly heals the target it is cast on for 100.
- Users can now select the target to give the Nano Boost to with the Interact key. If the target is within LoS the boost will automatically go to them when cast.
- Legacy behaviour still exists when Interact key not used.
Brigitte (hoo boy)
- Inspire
- Self-healing decreased to 12 HP/s.
- Healing on allies increased to 18 HP/s.
- Barrier Shield
- Health decreased to 450.
- Breaking the shield puts Shield Bash on cooldown, which starts counting down only when the shield starts regenerating.
- Repair Pack
- Reworked.
- Instead of an auto target ability, it is now a linear projectile.
- Heals 75 damage instantly, with 3 ticks of 25 HP healing that happen in the next second.
- If the target is fully healed, the 25 HP will be armor instead.
- Throwing the repair pack on a fully healed ally gives no instant armor.
- The armor now lasts for a maximum of 10 seconds.
- Allies may not have more than 75 armor from Brigitte's Repair Pack at any one time.
- Cooldown is now 5 seconds.
- If Brigitte misses the Repair Pack, 2s is refunded to the cooldown.
- Rally
- Automatically triggers Inspire.
- Armor starts decaying 5 seconds after the ultimate ends at a rate of 10 armor/s.
Lucio
- Song Aura
- Aura radius increased to 15m.
- Sound Barrier
- Cast time halved.

- Reserve tank capacity increased by 20%.
- Biotic Orb
- Healing orb now heals for a total of 400 HP.

Zenyatta
- Harmony Orb
- Healing decreased to 25 HP/s.
- Discord Orb
- Damage debuff decreased to 25%.
- Stacks additively with other damage amps, rather than multiplicatively.
Patch Highlights:
It has been fun to make Brigitte but due to the fact that she’s erasing all the fun from Overwatch and changing the Meta into a more boring one, we have made the following decisions after months of brainstorming:
- Brigitte is no longer available in Quick Play or Competitive Play mode.
- Brigitte is now an exclusive hero for Arcade Modes and Custom Games.
- A new Brigitte skin is available.
- Competitive Points used to purchase Brigitte’s golden weapon is now refundable.
Ana has recieved an actual useful buff that makes her viable.
(The brigitte and pharah changes are mostly there because I despise them ,the rest are an attempt at balancing the game while making it a bit more fun)
General : if you have been effected by hard CC ,you will be immune to it for the next 10 seconds.
If you have been effected by soft CC ,after 1 second you will be immune to it for the next 4 seconds
Obviously there will be an indication that they’re immune to it ,but I have no idea how that should be done ,maybe a thick outline of a certain color depending on the immunity
The payload now has a visible capture radius ,like capture points
Brigitte removed
Pharah : cannot be healed while she is 10 meters above the ground
Moira : Requires Zarya level aim with her biotic grasp ,buffed the amount of healing she can hold in her resource by 15% ,gains healing by her secondary fire 30% faster
Mccree : significantly reduced his hitbox to increase survivability
Widowmaker : Hook CD reverted to 12 ,or maybe to 10.
Mercy : Rez now only available in valkyire ,has 2 charges instead of one (not instant)
Hanzo : Changed his projectile speed (correct my numbers here ,don’t remember his numbers well) ,instead of it being an increase of from 80 to 115 it’s now an increase from 80 to 100 ,Storm arrows reduced to 4 ,damage increased to 75 ,CD stays at 10 ,increased ultimate charge gain by 200 ,bringing it from 1500 to 1700
Ana : Buffed with some sort of self sustain
Zenyatta : reduced discord’s damage increase to 20% instead of 30% ,increased zenyatta’s damage by 10% to compensate for the loss of power in 1v1s
Roadhog : Damage increased by 10% ,hook CD decreased to 6 seconds ,Hook ignores the CC changes made in “General”
Reaper : Somehow buffed to be good again ,I have no idea where to start considering how many problems he has.
Lucio : Soundbarrier charge rate decreased by 10% ,doubled shield gain ,increased shield decay by 50% ,no longer gives the enemy ultimate charge
Mercy: Healing to 50 hp/s. 1s added to GA time. Cannot heal through barriers. GA will not refill unless standing on the ground for 1s.
Ana: Now regenerates, exactly like Mercy.
Lucio: Healing rate increased by 20%. Damage slightly increased.
Moira: Fade to 8s cooldown. Fade no longer makes you invisible.
I actually like your changes.
Lucio: Faster ult. More heal. Wider buff range but less heal for further than 10m
Ana: extra shield. Charged shot does 80dmg/heal.
Mercy: remove boost and shoot with m2.
Torbion: hp 250. Lv1 turret CD 8 hp 300.
Hanzo: strom arrow 5 bullets
Soldier: rocket dmg +10
Roadhog: 1 more ammo
Bastion: faster ult
Sombra: tranlocator hitting enemy exchange sombra with that hero
Playing Comp now requires you to be level 100 or higher with a minimum of 10 hours played in each hero category (DPS, Tank, Support)
Comp also now puts everyone into Team Chat by default.
“Prime Matchmaking” Competitive queue - only players with SMS Protect on their accounts will be in this queue.
SR difference for grouping for Comp is now 500 SR at all ranks below Master.
Competitive Leavers are now put in a special queue. Anyone who has left a comp game for any reason is now placed in a special queue until they complete 10 full consecutive matches. Leaving during one of these matches resets the number of matches they must complete back to 10.

I think that person doesnt really know why reaper is bad while doing nothing to Tracer when Brig is gone explains a lot.
Lots of reasons ,armor screws him over ,shadowstep is absolute trash ,Death blossom is too easy to counter ,and more.
I just don’t know where to begin in buffing him.
she doesn’t need anything ,she can be countered when she’s alone ,the problem is that she’s hard to counter in a dive composition.
They can introduce some sort of new counter to dive ,but brig is one that I simply despise.

Junkrat
Mines must be direct hits to get the 120 damage, otherwise they do reduced splash damage, and you cannot detonate them early midair anymore.
Pharah
Removed self-harm from rockets and ultimate. In compensation, her rockets and ult have a ramping-up damage period, in other words, they must fly in the air for a certain distance before attaining max damage potential, thus if you shot them at point blank, they would do severely reduced damage
Concussive blast reduced from 12 seconds to 8 seconds. Having her main mobility and boop on such an astronomically high cooldown was unfair compared to the rest of the cast, so we reduced it, hopefully improving the quality of life for Pharah players.
Pharah also can now cancel her ultimate early if needed, and she can slightly hover in all 4 directions while using. In addition, using barrage now reloads her clip of rockets. All three of these are standard features in a lot of other DPS ultimates, (deadeye being a good example) so we are allowing Pharah to have them too.
We are trying to get rid of the meme you all have known since launch of Pharah going “JUSTI-HEUGHHH” and ending her ult prematurely, we realized freezing someone in place for 4 seconds up in open air is bad game design in an FPS like Overwatch, and we hope to see more surviving Pharah’s out there, and not suicide bombers anymore
Doomfist
Rocket punch’s cooldown increased to 6 seconds. We felt a potential oneshot instakill ability (to squishies) was too strong for having such a low cooldown
Tracer
Pulse bomb no longer kills Tracer, as we are removing all self harm from the game. It also does 400 damage now, as only doing 300 was too low, especially considering some normal attacks on cooldown did more damage (storm arrows for example) than Tracer’s entire ultimate
Widowmaker
Infrasight is now her E ability on a 1 minute cooldown, and it only scans in a cone forward in the direction she is looking when she activates it, and it lasts for a bit less than the old infrasight. Widow’s new ultimate is Thermal kit. It allows for a couple of cool things…First off, activating the kit gives you infinite grapples while the kit is active. The grapples can also be held down to attach to a ceiling or wall and let Widow hang from it like a spider that she is (especially in her animated short), and you can toggle the ability in options to hang upside down if youd like (we can’t wait to see some truly badass upside down Potg in 1st person).
Finally she gets thermal rounds, which are three shots capable of penetrating any and all physical objects in the game. So you should activate infrasight beforehand, and with thermal rounds, literally nobody can hide from you or take cover (as long as your aim is good!)
Ana
New passive: Scramble: pressing shift while running scrambles Ana across the ground at a fast pace. This mobility skill can be used every 10 seconds. If used against a wall, she can scramble up the wall similar to wallrun. This is to bring her in line with being a sniper, and able to get up on high ledges like in her very first intro video we put out on Anubis.
Passive: Ana now regenerates her health slowly over time like all other healers currently do.
In addition to these changes, she now has an infinite clip with no need to ever reload, similar to Hanzo, but her maximum shooting speed (if you spam left click) has been reduced by 20% to compensate
Moira now has 300 hp, Moira’s damage is now 100 biotic orb now heals her and gives back some healing energy by using her damage orb.
Comments: We want Moira to do more damage and giving her more hp would help her in a fight by buffing her, we also want to give her hp and energy when she use her damage orb.
Sombra
Now takes 25 Damage to get rid of Sombra’s invisibility.
Reverted the cooldown on Sombra’s hack when damaged.
Sombra’s damage has been upped by 2.5
