Possible Mauga changes

I believe Mauga is a great addition to overwatch. However, there are times when his health almost melts instantly even with cardiac and supports supporting him so here are some of my suggestions:
-Increase max over-health
-decrease ignite from 15 to 13.
-frontal damage mitigation passive.
-Increase charge stomp stun duration.
-increase bullet spread and size.

The berserker passive really needs to be easier to activate on non-tank enemies. The smaller the enemy, the less total sustain he can achieve for how unreliable it is to land 15 burnings shots quickly, then get any amount of dmg on that character.

You are more likely to try to kill that character than you will get any meaningful sustain out of his passive. On tanks, you gain a modest amount, but the biggest thing is simply the damage pressure you cause not the overhealth.

His overhealth generation shouldn’t be tied to the burn + crit style. It should be linked more loosely to landing hits period and on any source. See hitting shields gains him some level of sustain as well as hitting smaller targets. Arguably even change it such that simply firing weapons gets you overhealth say +1 per shot, then +1 again if the shot hits something.

Mauga is a hitscan hero who is arguably on the easier side to pick up and play. Increasing his bullet size, especially since it lights people on fire, would be a crazy buff.

I’m with you on ignite getting a buff though, and I would say even drop it to 12. That’s a 20% increase from where he was at release, rather than the 50% nerf that he got.

A longer stun on a cooldown is not likely because it isn’t hard to land and you cannot be stopped while charging, but that leads me to the other point of frontal damage reduction.

I would put an overall damage reduction on him by maybe 25-35% while he is charging. He can’t be stopped but he is also an absolute sponge without cardiac overdrive, and having a little more mitigation in his kit while charging would make him feel a bit tankier.

he is just a badly designed character like i dont even know what they was thinking even with the small nerf he got he is still shredding people
