So everyone’s excited for the legendary skins that are coming with the event, but did you think of the epic skins?
And please, don’t talk about legendary skins.
Epic skins they added last year were Carbon Fiber Pharah & Doomfist, Midnight D.Va and Oro Sombra.
I’d say even if D.Va already has a Carbon Fiber skin with yellow accents I just call Midnight D.Va Carbon Fiber as it fits more with her. (Black - Pink)
The epic carbor fiber line (minus Echo as she doesn’t really fit in) (Plus Zarya as it’s pretty much her Carbon Fiber skin just like in D.Vas case):

I love both of these, Carbon Fiber and Golden, skins as they look pretty good together.
What do you think we will get for anniversary this year?
I really hope that Moira will get a Carbon Fiber skin with purple accents or a golden skin if she doesn’t get a Legendary. But there’s still the posibility that she or someone else could get an epic skin and a legendary skin as Pharah and D.Va got two skins last time.
Maybe a Carbon Fiber Mercy with yellow accents?
Reinhardt with gray accents.
Golden Ashe and Bob would be nice too.
A Carbon Fiber skin for Symmetra with light blue accents and a Lucio Carbon Fiber skin with green accents.
I just really hope they’ll continue the lines this year or even as new basic cosmetics for Overwatch 2.
I definitely want a mercy skin as she is highly likely to get one. Maybe a magical girl one or dragon or something.

I agree, Orisa could use one with yellow and green accents while bastion could have orange.

4th anniversary skin?! Why not just wait till Summer for her to be a crab or something!
D.Va only has 4 legendary event skins out of 5 years. I don’t see the problem.
Plus the academy D.Va skin should’ve been archives.

For epic, maybe a literal version of a character. Snow angel mercy is a literal angel and it’s very popular.
Maybe dragon Pharah or Ninja genji?

I’d like some more skins added to the white and gold collection (which is Tracer’s and Ashe’s ‘Posh’ skins, Sym’s ‘Utopiaea’ skin and Rein’s ‘Paragon’ skin).

I was kind of disappointed Moiras pale skin didn’t have golden accents to it like these skins but that’s just me.
But either way, white - gold is great too.
She already got a magical girl themed skin: Pink Mercy skin.
It’s not meant to be a magical girl skin at all. I want one that looks a lot like a magical girl and not one that resembles it a little bit.
How is that not a magical girl skin? The skin even has the cheesy magical sound effects that you find in magical girls anime. It clearly is meant to be one XD
Anyway, if you can’t see it, I don’t understand what your image of a magical girl is… so I hope you will someday get whatever you are imagining.
last years carbon fiber skins sucked
I was imagining something closer to sailor moon. I don’t know much about the specific looks ect but I usually think about something with a tutu-like skirt. You can probably find some concept art about what I’m talking about if you just search up “Mercy Magical Girl Concept Art”.
Sailor Moon is pretty much a japanese school uniform, although I understand what you mean about the skirt which is kinda “fluffy”.
However, not all magical girls have that kind of skirt, although I agree it is pretty common in these type of anime.
Aside from the skirt, everything screams magical girl (even giving a 37 years old woman some high pigtails…). It could have look better with a different skirt, I agree, but still like I said, not having that stereotypical skirt doesn’t make it not be a magical girl skin, since not all of them have that tutu-kind-of-skirt either.
*EDIT: Plus, although they did not make it fluffly, the Pink Mercy skin does have a pleated skirt like a lot of magical girls in anime have.

Yes, let’s give d.va another legendary for anniversary and then hear the people who play her whine and complain when she doesnt get a halloween skin.
