people dont like ranked exclusive rewards for some reason. Jeff says he doesn’t like weapons because it influences players to play ranked when they dont want to

he said masters gm borders or top500 electric borders i think those would be ranked exclusive
Does that mean the diamond, bronze, plat, gold, and silver borders should be ranked exclusives? I’m pretty sure they’re just saying masters, gm, and t500 borders because that’s what comes after diamond

Can the OW team even pretend to care about giving the players the freedom of playing how they want anymore? The only way they can get any worse is Hero Lock.
They sure need some cosmetics for borders.
Just add CP points to QP too.
Make obtaining golden gun not permanent, but like a rent for 3 months?

there should be a better system for rewarding players.
honnor system does nothing when you should get exclusive honnor skins for it
ranked should give ranked exclusive gold weapons or character skins
portraits should also allow you to get exclusive skins since any portrait above gold will get you nothing but hate under gm because players still talk about portrait level in masters
I was thinking about a red ruby border with sparkles.
After that border, some sort of purple border with pink & golden stars
After each 600 levels you get a new portrait frame - bronze, silver, gold, platinum and the last is currently called diamond border. It’s for XP in the game, not competitive rank. I’m not against new ranked rewards or skins but for this thread I’m specifically saying I don’t want to be stuck in diamond XP border forever. Three years in this should already be addressed.

I don’t even think I have seen the diamond one. I honestely am looking really forward to plat border but I just got gold so… got a lot of hours to go.
They could just add borders to the loot boxes. So rather than having the default borders players could just pick a border that suits them. Just be one more little bit of cosmetics for players.
Thats just for beta isnt it? Then GM could get 3x400 in 2 weeks just from the beta if it goes live.

I dont blame a person for wanting the next level portrait color. I personally do NOT like mine. Because having a gold portrait means players Want me to carry them, and enemy players target me first. But for those that would like it:
The next portrait color should be Emerald. (higher value in the markets).
- Emerald.
- Amethyst.
- Ruby.
