Who do you guys think are the worst designed heroes, I’ll go 1st
Symmetra: she’s too slow for Overwatch 2 and it’s clear that they want her to be a more tactical utility character but have no idea how, Her ult litterally doesnt do anything enchance her ability, just a way to keep her safe,
Mercy: She lives or die by how good her teammates are and her balancing is heavily centralized around rez which the devs have no idea how to balance in a fun way, same thing with pocketing which makes some characters broken.
Pharah: if your opponent has good aim, your useless, if your opponent have Subpar aim, you’ll carry, Not a good design to make a character of such extremes.
JunkerQueen: Very fun to play but was clearly a DPS they made into a tank.
Roadhog: he lives or dies by the hook, having a character that relies entirely on one thing is never going to be good design.
Tracer: Hardest to hit character in the game, so hard in fact that even lock ons and CC have a hard time hitting her, to the point where you’ll need amazing aim in. order. to counter. the. hard. to. hit. character… Yeah Hypermobility is terrible.
Doomfist: He’s lacking in every aspect and his kit can’t hold up battling against more than 2 enemies, which for a tank is pathetic
Widowmaker: If you can click heads you carry, can kill anyone who flanks you and never loose, if you can’t then your almost useless, And 1 shot mechancis are never fun to play against, especially when they can happen litterally every second. designing a character that does so little or so much based on a singular skill, no matter how hard the skill is, isn’t going to be good.
Genji: Mainly Just Deflect, it’s hard to tell what the hitbox is on it, when it’ll end, and the sound que doesn’t even match the move itself. It’s a massive crutch that’s unfun to fight against and shouldn’t be on a character who’s all about dodging, and the devs have no idea how to make nanoblade fair especially in OW2
