Hey, I went through your gameplay and wanted to share some thoughts. I’ll try to be as clear as possible, none of this is meant in a negative way, just to help you improve.
First, I’d really recommend turning off music while playing. There were many situations where you or your teammates died because you didn’t react to important audio cues like footsteps or enemy abilities. Those sounds are critical for awareness and reaction time.
Another big thing is your camera usage. You spend most of the game looking straight at your tank, which limits your awareness a lot. Try to get into the habit of checking your surroundings more, look around, check behind you, and keep track of both enemies and teammates. The more information you have, the more proactive you can be.
Regarding your ult usage, you’re often using it without setting it up first. Ideally, you want to throw an orb before ulting, usually a damage orb, so you can maximize burst and value. That combo is much more effective than using your ult on its own.
Your orb usage in general could use some adjustment. Right now, you’re throwing them directly at targets, which causes them to pass through too quickly and lose value. Instead, aim at the ground near enemies or allies so the orb bounces and stays in contact longer, increasing its effectiveness. Also, try to use walls to control where your orb travels, especially when there’s no immediate target, this helps you get value even before fights start.
One important mindset shift: you’re playing very reactively, mostly just healing whoever is in front of you. To have more impact, you need to be more proactive. Try to make plays that force the enemy team to respond to you, rather than always responding to them. Supporting your DPS in aggressive plays or applying pressure yourself can shift control in your favor.
In duels, you’re usually using damage orb, but in many cases, healing orb is actually the better choice. Your main advantage is your self-healing, so leaning into that can help you win more fights, unless you’re up against someone who can also sustain themselves well.
Also, be careful with tunnel vision during duels. You tend to focus entirely on finishing one target while ignoring everything else. Winning a duel isn’t always about securing the kill, it’s often enough to pressure someone into backing off or wasting cooldowns. Always keep your team and your own survival in mind.
Lastly, your healing resource management can improve. You sometimes use healing orbs when your primary heal (right click) would be enough. Since your heal applies over time, try to use it more consistently across multiple teammates, think of it like small, frequent bursts rather than big, reactive ones. This will help stabilize your team more efficiently and save your cooldowns for when they’re really needed.
