There is barely important stuff discussed her…just

  • “nerf xxx hero I am too bad to play against him”
  • “Hero xxx is to ezzz to play”
  • “The devs dont coment on a topic, even tho they said somthing to it”
  • “They should not listen to the pros”
  • “MASS REZ REEEEEEEEEEEE I WANT IT NOW BACK IT WAS SO GOOD”
  • “How was your day?”
  • “The Devs don’t listen, while they do most of the stuff the forum asked for…”
  • “This one nice post that discusses something important in a good way…”

This is just killing the game, an uninformed mob that goes form one hero to the other till the game at a state where there are 3 heroes…
One deals 1/2 HP bar dmg but needs aim, one that deals 1/3 HP bar dmg but needs no aim and a healer that heals 1/4 HP bar per sec…
Sound nice …

The forums have a negligible effect on balance. This is a herd of cats screaming into the void that are mostly ignored outside of rare salient points.

The Devs rarely do what the forum asks for. People just parrot things they hear. Seagull made a video, and suddenly you have a horde of people just spouting things they heard him say as if it’s the most important thing in the world.

Also, if this thread stays relevant, a blue post is going to come by saying that this is not a respectful or constructive conversation… because it isn’t, you’re just insulting people because you don’t like what they’re saying.

For starters, this very thread is the exact thing you are complaining about.

And on another note, if the Developers actually did listen to the forums to begin with with such a frequency you claim, the game wouldn’t be in the state it is currently.

Honestly if the devs did listen to everything this forum said the game would be in a state of complete disaster and disarray.

I agree. This place is a dumpster fire. So many overly opinionated, under informed, bias, and entitled people who spend more time arguing on the fourms than playing the game.

These fourms are a cesspool and should be nuked

If they listened now yes, it probably would.

But if they had listened originally without throwing in their own random useless changes, We might be somewhere useful.

I disagree tbh. People have always had super kneejerk reactions about things and made some suggestions that made no sense in hindsight.

I don’t mean if they listened to and implemented every single suggestion I mean if they actually had listened to the main feedback about large changes.

Hell, Bastion’s hero breaking “rework” definitely wouldn’t have gone through.

A lot of the main feedback has been super kneejerk though.

Take the D.Va micromissile change. Everyone was freaking out that she would be completely useless…and then she turned out to be extremely good.

No one is holding you here. If it is not the forum it will be reddit or whatever.

Yea… and a lot of D,Va mains would still prefer a more Tank oriented playstyle, without the focus being on dealing damage.

The problem is… a LOT Of changes weren’t made due to feedback, or even in light of it… but were made by the devs, seemingly out of nowhere.
