How the heck you think Mercy can know, that she is pocketing a cheater? I have over 250 hours on her and I have no idea, if I ever pocketed cheater or not. OP is saying, that it was said in chat after the game ended. Imagin doing your job as a support and than get reported, cause some moron from your team was cheating and you happend to have your beam on his butt…

I would right click invite the Mercy to my party and if it says she’s already in a group then she absolutely gets a cheating report too.
A player shouldn’t be this clueless in competitive. Listen to what your team is telling you and don’t pocket the cheater. Seems intentional to me.

How is your own team supposed to know some random dude is cheating? They don’t have access to killcams either. People can hide their profiles so they don’t show insane accuracy ratings too.
Nobody is a psychic. It’s enemy team’s job to call out a cheater because they’re the ones who can see suspicious actions from killcams. Half the playerbase don’t even watch killcams and never scrutinise anything they find from them anyway.
People have cheated even on esports tournaments and nobody on their own team is any wiser about their actions before other parties like supervisors and enemy team call them out on it.
There’s probably been cheaters on your OWN team and you, rest of your team and the enemy team probably never knew it. Quickplay, arcade or comp, doesn’t matter. There’s so many players in this game who cheat daily and never get caught by any party, at all ranks. You don’t have the moral high ground here bud.
It’s not against the rules for a Mercy to do their job, regardless of who they’re healing/boosting.
