I got a 4 stack yesterday and got to play ball with 4 people coordinated helping me and joined voice. It was one of the most fun games I’ve ever had. Went something like 30-0 on suravasa.
I think you can’t 4 stack in comp tho.

You can if you are a narrow group. So it’s pretty hard because you’re ranks have to be pretty close.

Idk why Blizz stubbornly refuses to divide solo/group. Divide them and just give an option to the solo people allowing to be matched with groups(for faster q times, better teamplay or whatever) or not, then everyone will be happy.

I mean 9 times out of 10 a 4 stack is just a random group of people that decided to stay as a group after a good match because they happened to all be in voice chat working together which is quite rare. So, they really have zero advantage over solo queue ppl. good luck finding 3-4 friends that are close enough in rank to queue together outside of maybe champion.

You can just join a group if you want that and also that is so far from the average experience it’s not even worth talking about
Think of it this way, you were completely dependent on the 4 stacks doing that. If they chose anything else you would be screwed
It’s the power imbalance thats the problem
Because the reality is solo queues will have the fast queue times while groups will start whining and crying their queues take forever or they get stomped by a way stronger group.

They just create new accounts dedicated to playing with their group, and here you go, everyone with the same rank.
No wonder why some matches are so imbalanced when stacks are involved…

I honestly don’t think groups of any kind should be in comp at any rank. It should be a completely separate queue.

Yeah thats the answer mate. If you split the queues, even more, you would:
- Make the queues INSANELY longer for everyone
- Make the quality of the matches SEVERELY drop for everyone
Except those with the option of letting the MM match them with duos/trios/etc of course but still, since there will be many players that don’t have it, it would still be significantly worse that what we have now.

They can queue in the separate team comp and have a separate rank 
I don’t think that the rank of people who only play in groups is even remotely accurate and it encourages the worst behaviours.

no need to ban them - just put them in a queue with other stacks. Solo queue will fix so many problems. OH BUT NOW I HAVE TO WAIT BOO HOO. yeah good. wait. not my problem

I only solo queue and I cant even tell when someone is 4 stacking unless their names match. Like it shouldnt really change the game at all. Maybe its because my chat is off but idk.
