When the new sombra buffs comes, please don’t start complaining immediately at least figure out how to counter her and let her have her moment of glory like everyone

Even with the initial nerfs, she was a good dive DPS, and replaced Genji in a lot of high level team comps. Her nerfs didn’t kill her, the meta change did, the same way it killed Genji.

If it is broken and hacks through walls and abilities, then I will complain. Its a shame so many bugs were added when they tried to fix it from being broken, but there were good reasons for it getting nerfed.

People were still hacked for the next 6 sec, those invulnerability skills didnt last that long, so it still had value, and it shouldnt have happened period. So I am still glad that it doesnt happen anymore, especially through walls.

Sombra’s buffs will last a week, max, before she gets dumpstered by complaining. Trying to hold back the complaining is like trying to hold back the ocean with your fingertip.

It was useless on Reaper, zarya, doomfist, mei, zen, etc. it was only really bad for tracer. The hacking through walls did need to go, but People still get hacked through their abilities though.
How was it useless on zarya, and mei? It still stopped them from using ult, or their other ability, no wall or bubble. I have no been hacked though any abilities since they nerfed sombra. Maybe it can still happen, but ive never experienced it.
Also hacking another sombra through translocate hurt, moira through fade. Any1 through a barrier, which would be just like a wall. Either way, it was bad for both sides, mainly the enemies but still an issue, that I would not like to see in the game again.
i’m talking through abilities. You would hack a zarya to stop bubble, but if you hack her through bubble, it’s useless because her cooldown is longer than hack lasts, it’s the same with mei.
Hacking through Mei’s iceblock is useless as she’d already be in it. Likewise through a zarya bubble as it would already be on cooldown anyway. Same goes for Reapers wraith or Tracers recall.

I only hated it when I got hacked through walls and abilities. It felt terrible to play against Sombra, not because of the buffs but because of the bugs.

The pre nerf balance decisions weren’t terrible. They were minimal tweaks and she actually LOST one of her best tools for charging ult in it. She had been in the game for two weeks before she got hotfixed, and the changes weren’t talked about nor did they go into PTR.
Buffed Sombra never was played in a meta, nor was she necessary to win a game. It just felt worse because more people were actually playing Sombra for once, a hero who was previously picked so infrequently nobody knew the MU.
