Do we REALLY want to end up like Mercy/Doomfist players, where they get small buffs(Mercy in 2016-2017) and bug fixes(DF) and when someone gets nerfed, they fall in the meta and the nerf hammer comes around. I know, I know, maybe she does need 2 or 3 QoL improvements, but requesting buffs over time is horrible in all honesty. I love Sym to death, I main her, and if she ever gets nerfed because she ends up OP after all of there buffs that bad players asked for, I am going to be disappointed. Learn how to play Sym, and stop complaining that she dies so often when you play her against Winston and Pharah.

Honestly rework her turrets, remove the slow or reduce it by a significant degree but in exchange make their refresh rate much faster.
Right now once you place your sym turrets and they are inevitably killed and you have to wait a long time before they respawn. Also consider the fact that to make the most of these turrets you need to place them where no one is seeing you do it and with proper placement. This means a lot of her power in her kits is revolved around her turrets but having few opportunities to actually use them.
I guess this is fine if you just love throwing your balls around.

Sym isn’t like either DF or Mercy though. It’s been like 7 months. She’s not niche, she’s bad because we have many better DPS options.

Well she will be because we keep buffing her to the point that when goats falls, she might get some spotlight, and we all know how whiny the OW community is, so she will get a big nerf and end up in the same spot again.
She keeps getting buffs I never ask for. Since her rework, I’ve always thought her primary damage/charge time was fine. All I want is for them to fix the bugs with her tp. 50 extra shields would be nice but I don’t really care about it. Making tp more reliable is literally all I want.
I find this opinion hard to take seriously from someone named ,DontFixSym

Same, I never really thought that she needs buffs. Maybe TP deployment time could be faster or turrets should come back faster, but nothing really major.

Why would you flag an opinion? Also username doesnt matter a bit, I just needed one and I couldnt think of anything else. I main her, and I do not wish she would get nerfed because of these buffs that she doesnt need.
They are fixing her though. Her issue is that she’s slow in everything she does.
They’ve buffed her primary speed and I think everything else needs to just be faster too. Tp deployment, secondary charge speed OR fire speed but not both, and turret deployment.
I think the devs know she’s a character that takes winding up but don’t know how much wind up is too much or too little.
Primary speed buff is a step in the right direction to make her flow and feel faster

Doesn’t your name imply that you agree there is a problem currently with Sym, that needs fixing that you don’t want fixed?
Anyway, more OT: I don’t find the idea of possible sledgehammer nerfs in the future to be a compelling argument for not buffing or trying to fix her. She has problems that should be addressed. The idea that she might need nerfs in the future is a bridge we should cross when and if we get there.
When a character has both been reworked to the point where their entire kit has been changed does it even matter? worse case scenario is that she becomes as weak as she is now again and i don’t see a problem with that, i mean what are they honestly going to do nerf her teleporter or something? that’s literally the only reason she can become meta on like one map in the first place and it’s a buggy mess of a ability anyways, symmetra can only go up if people ask for buffs towards this point.
