Seriously, she is THE worst support in the entire game right now. Stop. Picking. Her.
Her heals are awful since they’re so short-ranged, combine that with not a very good ult and the LOWEST damage in the entire game sitting at an upsetting 50 DPS make her, in my eyes the worst support in the game. Those are only some of the problems she has, there are so many more.
She has the lowest pickrate of any support in GM, along with the lowest winrate after Mercy. It’s on overbuff, seriously, look it up. So instead of me basing my awful experience with Moira players on anecdotal experience, I can actually back up that she’s not a good hero.

Shes a little fountain of healing, she actually heals too much kinda. I thought pros take her when they need big <(key word) healing. Pros rely upon not taking unnessisary damage, thus sometimes shes not doing enough to justify her as a pick over a zen (discord), mercy (rez), ana (nade, dart), lucio (speed), brig (obvious).
Moira is amazing with a lot of comps. I’m guessing you had a team of flankers / snipers / people who don’t stay with the team, with one tank and she was trying to solo heal or something.
Now that’s challenging to do. Better off going Mercy in that case, I suppose. (Or Ana if your aim is good).
But yeah, if the comp doesn’t totally screw her over, Moira is a solid pick.

I have no problem with her on tank heavy comps, it’s when someone refuses to switch when we’re running a mobile composition. Then I don’t get it.

She can actually still work with dive if the dive is coordinated. Otherwise … yeah, probably better off going Mercy.
But eh, let people play what they’re comfortable with. Maybe the Moira in question is really bad at Mercy. /shrug.

She’s one of 2 supports who can reliably avoid / deal with doomfist. Also her burst/group healing potential is massive. Also she can duel Genji.
So no, I’m going to keep picking her and loving it.

Dodging rocket punch with fade is one of the most satisfying things in the game.
…Especially as a Zen main, it feels good to just crush DF’s dreams every now and again.
