Mod Edit:This thread was not going anywhere constructive and is full of trolling and toxic comments. Locking this down.
Look, I was fine when Blizzard announced that Tracer was gay. I was a little proud that they included a LGBT character because now everyone is happy. About a year later? Now people want another LGBT character. Please stop. It’s just a game. In what why would making another character gay improve gameplay? or improve anything at all?? Do you people just want a reason to have a character mention that he’s gay every single round? If you guys keep asking for it it’s going to actually happen. And then a few months later someones going to be offended that their aren’t any transgenders, or bisexually characters. And then 4 years later Overwatch just turns into LGBT: the first person shooter.
Once again, I’m not against LGBT people, but I’m just saying: Does it really matter??
Also, if bliz actually makes another character gay, I got my money on Mcree.
Yes, HOWEVER, they said there are other LGBT characters in lore but said they would reveal them at a later date. They said this back in December…of 2016… In short Blizzard are cowards.
While it does matter to a lot of people, I still have to ask, why does something have to “matter” for someone to want it? It’s just a video game, none of this really matters. If someone wants to see more representation then let them ask for it.
No one gets up in arms when someone asks for a hero from X country, no one asks “why does it matter” for those threads.
Because they really do care, I guess. Getting “annoyed” at it is still caring to an extent. They certainly care enough to spam the forum with “stop spamminG!!!” threads lol
Probably because sexuality has no business in an FPS
imagine if every single day, the same user posted a thread about how there should be a jar of piss weapon like in TF2.
Maybe the first discussion was interesting. But about the 20th thread on the subject, people just want it to stop. There is no reason for the game to have it.
Ok, let’s keep what has inherent business in an FPS then. Generic character models and animations portraying attacks and hits. Maps made out of untextured blocks serving only as cover.
