Please remove hack from sombra and give her something else
She is in every game and makes playing this game stressful and pointless.
Sombras ult is cool but her being able to hack anyone at any time is too much. Virus is cool but again hack needs to be removed. Please. We need a high skill ceiling for sombra. She should not be this accessible.

Yeah, when I’m near my team and she fails to hack me because someone on my side shoots her, she totally punished my good positioning.
I see your life is just going to be disappointment, they are not going to remove hack from her.
Actually her pickrate is somewhere in the middle, but her winrate is abysmal.

I play a bit of sombra when I’m not tanking.
I rarely have concerns of whether or not I will or won’t be able to hack my target of choice at a good opportunity - so long as I’m not attempting to hack them in their face. Even with their team around- I have permanent stealth and can initiate hack from stealth. It only takes a fraction of a second to land.
That’s cool. I play quickplay where Sombras are either not coordinated, or I play with teams that are good at checking for her.
Regardless, Sombra’s hack has been weakened to the point where she can hack someone 100% of the time and get no value due to her enemy’s skills coming back fast. People on this forum need to realize that you WILL be debuffed and you aren’t going to like it. Begging to have her abilities removed because you can’t handle being debuffed is silly.
This is mainly because she is a swap hero when someone is getting diffed.
They are not sombra players but pick her to stop getting diffed.
Picking sombra allows any dps to feel safe.
They will still probably lose the match but now they get to have harassed some poor mercy, not die too often.
For ability dependent heroes it’s still a hard counter.
Even a sec of not being able to rotate ability is walk back from spawn.
Back in the day when Cassidy was considered OP, people used the same logic to explain why he is as actually overpowered despite his winrate. But Sombra? She could never do anything wrong. Their precious little Meow Meow is pitiful. Perhaps the worst hero in the game. But they do not want changes. No, that’s fine. Just leave her as is. No reason in particular. And also she is very hard to play.
Is that a problem? Should those heroes just go without a hard counter? Or are you one of those people who thinks Overwatch should be more skill/aim dependent and handle like Valorant or some other game that isn’t Overwatch?
I’ll remind you that this plan has already ruined Overwatch in tons of ways. Sombra is the way she is now because people begged for her to be changed to be more skillful. So they gave her that skill shot people asked for, they changed the way translocator works because people wanted her to be more skillful, and hack doesn’t keep abilities for too long anymore.
And god forbid an enemy sends you to spawn, right?

They gave her Minecraft cube with huge first shot accuracy it takes skill to miss than hit
Avg accuracy on cube is 60-65%
She practically ruins casual play, makes the game tedious in a sec , it’s basically a minigame that you have to play before you go back to overwatch

What’s “earning” it in your opinion? Is it just things like Soldier 76’s M1? Because if your answer is anything close to “yes”, then you might be playing the wrong game.
Yeah, that. That was their attempt at a skill shot, and whether or not you think they succeeded, you have to admit they created it explicitly to placate people like you. It didn’t work because people who think shooting should be the most important thing in Overwatch will never be satisfied with Sombra.

They changed her and explicitly gave her things people asked for, yes.
I’m positive you didn’t even try to follow my logic. One of the main complaints was infinite translocator, and they changed it to make it easier to pressure her. The facts just are what they are.
In addition, she tends to fall off very hard when facing more coordinated teams.
