Please show a DETECTED warning when you are visible by sonar arrow or infrasight

It’s literally a QoL change that already exists in the game only for Sombra right now.

Please make it appear for every hero. It’d be nice not to have to watch the in-game timer count down from 15 seconds every time I hear Widowmaker ult but get the timing slightly wrong and end up losing my head anyway.

Sonar arrow I can understand, but infrasight is screamed around the entire map.

That would ruin the main point of those abilities in the first place. XP

The main point of those abilities is zoning enemies from pushing.

The main point is to gain a tactical advantage, gaining information that your opponent doesn’t have.

But you have information your opponents don’t have? You know their positions and they don’t know yours.

This would do nothing but help people who play without sound and listen to music or something else while playing in Quick Play.

Widows is not that Bad, but hanzo is too silent for me.
I never realize that he shot his sonar arrow somewhere ;D

That would be a pretty significant nerf to both of the heroes. Widow’s ultimate is already somewhat underpowered, it doesn’t need a nerf.

The ability to see anyone through walls with a weapon that can 1 shot kill anyone that isn’t a tank or Bastion is underpowered.

If you knew there was a sonic arrow there by having detected show up, thats just a waste of an ability for hanzo. The point is to have more information about your target. It would ruin that ability.
Same with widow ult, I mean its announced throughout the map, just count down 15 seconds

Saying that it would make it a waste of an ability is essentially is saying Sombra is a hard counter to Widowmaker and Hanzo.

Maybe if the arrow was more visible and put out a red pulse from wherever it hit, continuously. I could avoid it. Music? Sure.

She has stealth for 5 seconds, and being detected in stealth counters her. Whats the point of having an ability that gives more information than the other team has, if both teams are gonna know?
Why would Sombra have stealth if everyone else is gonna see her? Why would rein have a shield if everyone is gonna shoot him?

You shouldn’t expect help when you knowingly put yourself at a disadvantage. The game tells you just how important sounds are.

Aaaand that they don’t know that you know where they are. Very important.

…ummm, so get rid of Sonic Arrow and Infra-Sight you mean? Because if the enemy could tell where/when they were up that’s exactly what it does. Widow’s Ult is NOT for zoning enemies. It’s specifically given to her because it goes hand and hand with sniping and prediction.

I wouldn’t be opposed to being able to destroy Hanzo’s Sonic Arrow much like you can Sym turrets. It’d make them more conscious of where they placed it while still giving them a tactical advantage.

Absolutely not. Learn to AD/WS peek instead of just blindly running around corners if your Tank isn’t nearby?
