Hack completely ruins the fun for me if im playing. Sombra isn’t broken, she just completely ruins the game I’m in, even if i win. Heros like Zarya aren’t really countered by her but she can still get killed by the hack during a team fight, and its one of the worst feelings in the game. Blocking hack is easier said than done and depends on the hero, but Sombra only gets a two second cooldown on her hack if she misses it. Emp i don’t have as much of a problem with because it’s an ult and its supposed to give a huge upperhand.
Oh dear god seriously why are so many people complaining about hack all of a sudden??? It’s not that broken. She’s a meh character otherwise (and this is coming from someone who mains her). It’s only fair she has at least one ability to give her an upper hand.

I don’t think Sombra is game-ruining. I just wish hack didn’t last so long, and I don’t like that you can’t really get out of it by countering because she gets it back quick. I think good counter-play should put it on a longer cooldown.

I kind of agree. Hack is one of the most powerful abilities in the game, it is sad that it was slapped onto an ability which doesn’t require any kind of aim. Imagine if sleep dart worked in the same way hack did!
But like…no? It makes sense you have to aim with sleep dart, because it’s a dart. But hack is just that: an ability. It’s all technology. It would make no sense to have to aim with it.

I’d rather the duration of hack be decreased but have a giant purple skull above the hacked target to compensate.

But Ana has one of the best abilities too, that doesn’t require aim either. She can also heal a lot and snipe people. Sombra can hack and maybe kill something if she is lucky enough to not be focused.

I’m fine with nerfing or removing hack completely. But as compensation, I want Sombra to have a knife, that instakills the enemy if you stab them in the back.

Freeze is unfun, rework it
Sleep ruins my enjoyment, rework it
Anti-heal is irritating, rework it
In what way is she meta? Her win rate hasn’t changed, her pick rate going up only meant more people are losing SR just from having her on their team. Not even Grandmasters can make her work consistently.

I think the only thing about hack that should be reworkd is the heros ults it hacks. E.g. 76 tactical visor can not be hacked while Crees dead eye can. I understand that channeld ults (abilities that do not allow other abilities to be used) are hacked, but transformation ults where oyu can use other abilites are not, but i do not agree with that. There should be something more case-specific depending on logic in my opinion. 76 tactical visor should be hacked as it is a mechanical tool, while Crees duellist ability is simply his aim and should not be hacked.
Btw. nothing wrong with the character. Just these things bother me slightly
i dun understand why u have such problem with sombra. sombra is so team dependent. if you or your team is good, she will just be useless most of the time. speaking of no fun, how about brig, doomfist? is it fun to play against? even zayra is not fun to play against?
sombra practically has the worst damage output and none of her kit has any damage impact. if you are hacked, you should be able to kill her if you have good aim.
you are zayra main… you should not have problem with sombra at all… she cannot hack through your bubble. you can kill her faster than she kill you if you have built decent amount of energy…if you have rein in your team, there is no way she can touch you…it really surprised me when you said sombra ruins your fun for you. actually zayra ruins more fun in game when she bubbles the teammates. how about getting your bubble nerfed?
