Please remove physic based projectiles

I can’t recall overwatch 1 having it.

And in overwatch 2 it’s really hard to aim because of it.

I don’t like how my Crosshair isn’t where my bullet will go. But instead my bullet goes based on the motion of my character.

I don’t know why they would make the inertia of the character effect the projectiles physics because it feels really bad.

Might as well remove the crosshair imo if you’re having to aim your bullets by moving your character instead.

Uh. Literally nothing about how projectiles work has changed. Certain characters are hitscan (instant hit where crosshair is) and certain characters are not (delayed hit depending on projectile). Those who are not include Hanzo, Torbjorn, Orisa, Sigma, Pharah, Junkrat, Echo, Lucio, Mei, most of the cast really.

This has not changed. Not one single hero has changed in this regard.

I can’t recall overwatch 1 having it.

Did you played Ana, Bastion, Thorb, Sym, Doom, Zen, Mercy, Mei, Rein, Road, Junk, Phara, Hammond or Sigma? I am just using some as an example but a lot of heroes have that kind of projectiles, its part of playing a shooter.

It would be helpful to have an example of the projectile in question.

Aside from Junkrat or Hanzo, your statement doesn’t make much sense.

If you ask anyone who played overwatch 1 for 6 years and then played overwatch 2 and they will say the aiming feels off.

What I said above is why they feel this.

I am a Rein main since the first day of Ow1 launch, almost every hero feels the same with the exception of Orisa and Doom

Yes, as a tank I need to learn how everyone works because I need to learn how to protect myself and my team from them, shots from thorb are different from widow in both speed, angle and power. You learn this by playing the game, even fireballs have their own trick speed, area and angle to learn. My job is not just to swing a hammer. My job is to protect the team, and take the point/payload.

I don’t think there are any projectiles like this. Some go perfectly straight like Genji/Kiriko primary attack, or arc like Junkrat/Sigma.

Go shoot soujourns gun bruh or play the game with your eyes open. Idk what to tell you.

Sojourn’s gun is a projectile weapon, not hitscan. Though, the projectile is so fast that it hardly matters.

Aiming felt off at the start, since there was a bug where controller settings affected KBM. I believe it’s fixed now, though.
Aiming feels just fine, and projectiles haven’t changed from OW1.

Torb’s primary seems to arc more than it used to

Blizzard literally said themselves that was false and was a placebo lmao.

Aim feels extremely off from overwatch 1 to this day.

That has to do with your game settings, not because of any changes to projectiles. Try adjusting your aim smoothing function, or just turn it off.

For me it doesn’t feel weird anymore

Question is what kind of overwatch OP had played :joy:

Anyone?
Nope
3000+ hours on Junkrat in OW1, 50 hours so far on him in OW2, aiming doesnt feel off or different at all.

I always though you were generally sane, but I guess not.

That is… a hell of a lot of junkrat hours.
