if you nerf its damage by 33% consider giving it back the cooldown it used to have… right now the downtime is so high and it gets cleansed by every Zarya bubble
not to mention Genji already destroyed Ashe and she barely can do anything about him when he dashes on her
I’d rather see how the change settles first but if she ends up too weak I’d definitely be down for this.
I think it’s a little too early to ask for any kind of buffs for Ashe seeing her current strength. Also, Zarya bubble can only cleanse at most 2 people including Zarya, and Zarya gets no charge for doing so. That doesn’t mean the bubble is wasted but using bubble to cleanse a 100 damage burn is not optimal unless they’re going to take damage while bubbled. That also does nothing for the other 4 people on their team.
Also keep in mind just the explosion damage was nerfed, not the burn, so this doesn’t really change a whole lot for that interaction. Most Zarya’s aren’t going to bubble dynamite for the explosion damage.
press shift
voila, genji is gone
Where’s that downvote button when you need it?
25/175=0.142
It’s a 14.2% damage reduction.
People need to stop trying to be misleading, especially when they’re bad at it
15 down to 12 is a 33% ammo reduction. People need to just hit shots better kekw
Agree with first posts, but this is a joke right?
has swift strike which refreshes on assists and allows an easy press of shift and voila genji is back
No, thank you. The best DPS in the game doesn’t need compensation.
I was talking about dynamite burn impact.
So genji dashes blindly hoping that one of the people he shot at previously dies.
That’s not really a consistent strategy, usually results in a dead genji.
It’s specifically mentioned about being the initial explosive damage maximum being reduced to 50 from 75. Not the burn damage (which is largely negligible damage).
In the patch notes maybe, but not this post. It just says 33% decrease, which is misleading because it was reduced by 14% overall
It’s damage is not nerfed by 33% considering they didn’t touch the burn
I would say the second or third. The other two being Widowmaker and Tracer
Burn damage is 75 and is in no way negligible. It’s the burn damage that makes it an anti flank tool
Fair enough, but the intent, I think, was based on explosive damage.
Burn damage is 100 over 5 seconds. Or 20 damage per second for 5 seconds. It’s not an anti-flanking tool. A repair pack or Inspire trigger will nullify that damage, Mercy and Guardian Angel over and nullify the burn damage, Baptiste working with the flanker can neutralize that damage with Regen Burst, and so on and so forth.
What the burn does, is help rack up ultimate charge, so you want that burn on multiple targets at once, to put pressure on Supports, and soften targets for kills. You don’t want to use dynamite on a single target.
Those options are not always available to a flanker that is diving a sniper in the backline. Being set on fire forces them to disengage to go towards healers or med kits
For the sake of the argument lets say I agree, so I’ll rephrase to “the second or third strongest DPS doesn’t need compensation”.
Too complicated for someone who asks for CDs on double jump lol
