I absolutely, under no circumstance, want to EVER play comp with someone who barely knows the darn game (Anyone under lvl 60).
This, this is the most infuriating garbage I have ever experienced in my mortal life. I don’t want to lose games because I was matched with a new player.
You’ll win just as many when they are on the enemy team.
Get over it. Have you ever soloed from level 1-25. It takes hours. We are not changing this. That player is just as good as you clearly since you’re being matched together.
I actually like newbies.

Face the fact that someone who newly bought the game can perform at a plat level in 222.
Climbing is your only solution.

Also match maker isnt perfect, once in a while a new player gets randomly put in a game thats clearly out of their skill range prob due to queue time taking too long for them and the match maker expands its range.

Noobs are at all levels tbh, some people don’t care to learn.
But at 2500-2700 it was annoying getting people who thought Genji countered Torb or Mercy was the best healer because “some t500 said so”
If they’re in your game then they’re around the same skill level as you. Simple as.
For every game you have “bad teammates” the enemy does, so it balances out.
Despite what everyone on the forums seems to think, games are not lost because your teammates are bad. Games are lost because you’re tunnel visioning on your teammates rather than focusing on what you’re doing.
Stop blaming your teammates for your losses, then maybe you’ll climb and stop getting matched with these “new players who make you lose your games”.
games with obviously new players (not new accounts) are the most rage inducing games in the world because you can see them actively not even doing things that should be a “normal” thing to do y’know like a dva flying and not sitting on the ground the entire match but somehow got paired into mid diamond? or a rein flanking constantly dying and complaining to everyone that he has no heals… that’s almost 20min wasted so I get the issue but nothing they can do to be honest.
mind you ive seen some amazing new accounts but those were players having a good day or just well smurfs but the times you do run into a new player its pretty obvious.
It takes a decent amount of time to get to 30 now. 60 is just absurd, it would be silly to make legitimately new players have to be kept away from such a major game mode for that long.
Leave the match, if in QP. You can’t rely on the MM.

I literally just got into a game on my Switch where I’m lv 10 (I just started on there) and everyone was like lv 90 and above. Needless to say, I felt and played like a total noob.
God the handheld version is hard… I should try turning off gyroscope aiming.

Same, they may not have all the fundamentals down yet but at least they aren’t stuck in bad habits. If approached the right way you can very often teach them a little during the match.
